Not one DC United player is listed in the top 5 for MLS All-Star voting. I bet other MLS fans are crowing about things like that. Totally unaware that DC Untied fans are smart enough to know that's what we want. We don't want our player hurt or tired from a meaningless MLS scrimmage.
Posting negativity regarding other's negativity is still negativity. Welcome brother. The only downside for our team is the lack of the monetary bonus for making the all-star team. James.
I can't think of one player to argue the point. I remember the days when I was spitting mad someone was left out of the All Star game when we had to many invited already. The times, they have changed.
Its all good though. We can't really blame anyone. Stay positive and in 3-6 years with some stadium revenue we will be a force to be reckoned with. [emoji6]
Hamid is definitely good, but he hasn't been playing. I don't pay any attention to this all star crap; I wasn't even aware that voting was happening.
I think the local fans can be untied at times. In the business sense of MLS it isn't meaningless. If there is some marquee sponsor that threw in some extra dollars of sponsorship money because of it, then I understand it.
Oh I understand it from a marketing perspective. I however have not watched once since they switched to the marketing driven vs another club side format.
