Has anybody heard anything about this. I know ESPN2 has a couple of games on the schedule (Oct. 24 & 31st I believe). We all know MLS Cup 2004 is on ABC. What about Fox Sports World? Last year they carried a lot of playoff games, including both conference finals. Is that still part of the TV deal? Christian Miles commented during tonight's telecast that FSW would be with us throughout the playoffs, but is anything set? Help me out.

Let me suggest that folks boycott the USA- and MLS-hatin' Oliver Tse. If anyone wants a peek at televised playoff matches, look around for Dustin's postings here.
Kansas City Wizards at San Jose Earthquakes Game 1 will be the ESPN2 game next sunday (Oct.24) So that means unless you have Direct Kick or get MSG you not be able to watch the Metros/United Game 1. I believe the Crew/Revs Game 1 will be on FSW on Oct.23
Actually, all the games this weekend are televised. Friday night and Saturday night three on FSW, and ESPN2 on Sunday
Here's the TV schedule up at MLSnet.com right now. ALL TIMES ARE EST. EASTERN CONFERENCE SEMI-FINAL #1 Columbus Crew @ #4 New England Revolution October 23rd Fox Sports World (Tape Delay, I think at 9:30 pm) #4 New England Revolution @ #1 Columbus Crew October 31st ESPN2 (LIVE 5 pm) EASTERN CONFERENCE SEMI-FINAL #2 DC United @ #3 Metrostars October 23rd Fox Sports World (LIVE 7:30 pm) #3 Metrostars @ #2 DC United October 30th Fox Sports World (LIVE 7 pm) WESTERN CONFERENCE SEMI-FINAL #1 Kansas City Wizards @ #4 San Jose Earthquakes October 24th ESPN2 (LIVE 5 pm) #4 San Jose Earthquakes @ #1 Kansas City Wizards October 30th To Be Determined WESTERN CONFERENCE SEMI-FINAL #2 Los Angeles Galaxy @ #3 Colorado Rapids October 22nd Fox Sports World (LIVE 9:30 pm) #3 Colorado Rapids @ #2 Los Angeles Galaxy October 30 Fox Sports World (LIVE 10 pm) EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS Will be November 6th. No TV announced yet, but I would guess Fox Sports World will carry again this year. I hope so. WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS Also November 6th. Ditto the above. MLS CUP 2004 November 14th ABC (LIVE 3:30 pm) I'm uber-excited that the majority of the games will be televised on FSW, ESPN2, or ABC. The only problem is I'm a third shift manager and have to work both 10/23 & 10/30, so I'll miss at least two games. I must get Tivo now!
Don't forget there is a bunch of games on HDNET as well. Friday, October 22 Los Angeles Galaxy at Colorado Rapids 9:30 p.m. Saturday, October 30 MetroStars at D.C. United 7:00 p.m. Fri. or Sat., Nov. 5 or 6 Western Conference Championship TBD Saturday, November 6 Eastern Conference Championship TBD And a year in review special as well. Time to bug your friend with a Plasma. A shame that the MLS Cup won't be in HD, most likely.
The Revs will have the game on live WB56 so Direct Kick should have it live. Maybe FSW will play it live also in just the Ohio region?
