79-82 degrees. Someone said about a week or so back the lower bowl is sold out. The bearded one is gone and a new era has begun. Nothing else to do on a Saturday at 4 p.m. in Columbus. It's the Crew. It's a sell out tomorrow. Period.
FWIW, a round of pretty severe storms just made its way through Indy and was heading southeast. Hopefully it will avoid us, but like some have said before, wouldn't be the home opener without some sort of rain...
3 for sure, but my guess is 18,500 announced, about 16,000 present. Real question is how many eggs are being placed for the easter egg hunt?
Screw that - give those tix away to a deserving soul. I've been mulching all day and could sure use a couple hours of entertainment tomorrow before the In-Laws show up on Sunday.... but $350 of landscaping is keeping me from the game. And my daughter sure would like to see Duncan in his sweats.
My power was out for about 2 hours. It was pretty wild for a while. Driving around (while bored and waiting for the power to come back on) I saw a utility pole (on US 40) that had fallen on a Hummer at a dealership. Let's hope it's all passed through and we don't get any of that for the game tomorrow.
Forecast for today is upper 70s with a 30% chance of some rain after 5:00 pm. Weather from that system came through Columbus in the small hours.
Calling in sick was never an option with our pending project deadline. Thankfully I didn't suffer any damages from the storm. Although there was a huge hail storm around 7, I think that just unloaded for like 10 minutes or so on our neighborhood. The coolest thing after that storm cell passed was the immediate fog all the hail started producing.
I do not know I thought it would have been hilarious had it hit a Hybrid. I love watching a good thunderstorm but it sucks you guys get all of the sweet storms out there in Indy. In Columbus all the beast storms cash out around Marysville and we get the scraps.
The stadium looked pretty darn full from where I was sitting. The parking lot was pretty crowded too. Lots of folks parking pretty far away.
yeah it was. The side that's not on television didn't have a seat open and the side on television was the fullest I have ever seen it in a while.
