Because we never played Ajax in a European cup final......The only dutch Team we lost in the final was PSV ,the famous pk shoot out ...Veloso missed the 6th pk and Koeman scored for PSV..... You're mixed up. That was a tape of a group stage CL game in '93. Porto lost 3-0. Jorge Costa wasn't playing. That Porto team was almost all Portuguese. I think Aloisio was the only foreigner. Rui Felipe was still alive.

Both teams were strong ,i tend to go with the team of 2004.....Position by position ,there was really only 2 positions where the 1987 team was superior ,left mid and right mid.....Futre and Madjer...The 2004 defense was way better.....Specially the center backs......And the left back in 1987 wasnt the best either with Inacio.......
I don't know Frank, those guys were good but the 2003-2004 Porto won a UEFA and CL cup back to back. Gotta tell you something about the players.
