When u say we missed another final?Do mean we lost to Ajax in the semi -finals?

Because we never played Ajax in a European cup final......The only dutch Team we lost in the final was PSV ,the famous pk shoot out ...Veloso missed the 6th pk and Koeman scored for PSV.....

Cruyff for Ajax ,we werent that good in the 70s anymore....Thats when Ajax was the dominating force ,along with Holland in the 70s...Rinus Michell (Orange Machine)

:) You're mixed up. That was a tape of a group stage CL game in '93.
Porto lost 3-0. Jorge Costa wasn't playing. That Porto team was almost all
Portuguese. I think Aloisio was the only foreigner. Rui Felipe was still alive.

They are the same misfits that gave you hope in euro 2004. But then you called them heros.

No one guessed it. 14 is the answer.

F.C. Porto, Benfica e Sporting já participaram em catorze finais europeias, das quais venceram seis e perderam oito:

    Taça/Liga dos Campeões (9)

    1960/61, Benfica-Barcelona, 3-2
    1961/62, Benfica-Real Madrid, 5-3
    1962/63, Milan-Benfica, 2-1
    1964/65, Inter-Benfica, 1-0
    1967/68, Manchester United-Benfica, 4-1
    1986/87, F.C. Porto-Bayern Munique, 2-1
    1987/88, PSV Eindhoven-Benfica, 0-0 (7-6 g.p)
    1989/90, Milan-Benfica, 1-0
    2003/04, F.C. Porto-Mónaco, 3-0
    Taça UEFA (3)

    1982/83, 1ª mão, Anderlecht-Benfica, 1-0
    1982/83, 2ª mão, Benfica-Anderlecht, 1-1
    2002/03, F.C. Porto-Celtic, 3-2
    2004/05, Sporting-CSKA Moscovo, 1-3
    Taça das Taças (2)

    1963/64, Sporting-MTK Budapeste, 1-0 (Finalíssima)

Accoding to who?You ?And even if they were ,the 2004 team were misfits?

Any team that reaches and wins a final,ah what the heck why am i even bothering answering to stupid remarks for......

Not you Frank ,but the 1st remark, altough i dont see how you can say that the 1987 team were superior......

Both teams were strong ,i tend to go with the team of 2004.....Position by position ,there was really only 2 positions where the 1987 team was superior ,left mid and right mid.....Futre and Madjer...The 2004 defense was way better.....Specially the center backs......And the left back in 1987 wasnt the best either with Inacio.......
