I genuinely believe Mikel never reached his potential there, I'm not sure that has much to do with the club. But that particular player I think made the wrong move when he decided to go there.
Don't really think so. I think he just wasn't as good as people believed him to be. Same with plenty others during that time.
🚨🔵 BREAKING: Victor Osimhen could take legal action against Napoli — per his agent Roberto Calenda formal statement.“What happened today on Napoli's official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable. A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now… pic.twitter.com/DFlPodbLEz— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) September 26, 2023 If Florentino doesn't snap him up in January for 100 mil then hes truly lost the plot.
You thinking Napoli will sell him in January is you losing the plot. Secondly, they've made it clear they want a lot more money.
If you think him suing his own club doesn't change the situation with regards to a transfer then I dont know what to say.
He certainly won't be getting that new contract and he'll be on the market with his current deal due to expire in 2025
He just deleted all his Instagram photos wearing a Napoli shirt, which obviously means price remains the same and he stays until 2025. Love how it takes one stoned tiktok admin to disturb the entire market
It's just you that think Instagram impacts the entire market. Lavezzi uploaded himself doing the full Wayne Rooney hotel room sesh program on his social media and his market evaluation barely budged for Napoli. Osimhen's price isn't determined by how much he wants to be at Napoli, it's determined by how much others want to pull him out of there.
It can be instagram or it can be that a janitor gave him a side eye. It doesnt matter what it is. If a player is discontent at his current workplace for whatever reason it affects his price and availability. I don't know why we're even discussing this, its a basic principle.
We paid record breaking fees for players that went on strike and skipped training. As did Barca and many others.
Times are different and cases are different. But the principle is the same. Also, maybe we would have paid even more, or they wouldn't have been allowed to come at all if they didn't do that.
You didn't say that. You said: "If Florentino doesn't snap him up in January for 100 mil then hes truly lost the plot" As if that's a given now and Napoli will have to release him at that price. Now it's maybe, possibly, perhaps.
I think so but I would like him to confirm last year. He isn't mbappe or haaland. Not a very special talent but he is one of the best strikers. I don't think he is worth 150-200 million but I don't think Rice was worth 120 either. Man is fast, strong, good in the air and usually finishes well.
Of course, Osimhen wanting to leave is one of the two parts, the second one is Floretino exploiting the opportunity. Then you end up at a better price. But we know at this point even if Napoli pay us to take him he will not be interested. smh
So you mean Osimhen was at Napoli up until that tik tok because he didn't want to leave? Like, if Barca or Madrid would make a move he'd tell them he's happy at Napoli? Why would Napoli sell him? If he flat out sucks or refuses to play he hurts his own value.
