This is incorrect, the article says Utah organization donated $900k to help with the bubble, but cancel culture and social justice warriors must be worth more. and even funnier, KC hired a man as a coach so some of local social justice warriors here in Houston are all upset. LOLOL Incredibly amazing that #URFC gave the @NWSL a $90K bailout to save the 2020 season, and 6 months later the league pulled the plug on the franchise. https://t.co/aqU0S0KCdz— Salt City FC (@saltcityfc) December 7, 2020
I noticed on the ESPN crawl that Patrick Mahomes of the NFL Kansas City Chiefs, his wife a former soccer player, she is getting in on the ownership of the Royals as the team moves to K.C.
And yet teams that draw well are moving . . . maybe there is no correlation between women’s soccer/social justice warrior hyperactivity and actual revenues The top 2 leagues with highest engagement rates on Twitter in 2020?1 @NWSL2 @WNBAWhen @alexisohanian tweeted "Check the receipts in a decade." It inspired @scottbecher (WinWin) & the @Zoomph team to check the data, more #SportsBiz insights below. https://t.co/UXqCStipVZ— Amir Zonozi (@Zonozi) December 8, 2020
These women’s soccer “supporters” are loser protestors looking for some sort of cause As Red Stars supporters and fans, how does it make you feel when you see Julie Ertz continuously refuse to kneel as a silent protest and call to end racial injustice & police brutality toward people of color? https://t.co/sZiFO9obAO pic.twitter.com/VxE8xyZbgv— Chicago Local 134 (@ChicagoLocal134) January 19, 2021
Again, protest, got it, we are Americans so protest away. However, when really wanting to make a lasting impact on the downtrodden, which is easier to do, knell for a song that lasts 3 minutes or go down to the local youth run-away shelter every week on your day off as a professional athlete and spend hours with children that have been beaten, neglected, run away from home or at best are now orphans.
Now they are eating their own!!! Even the great Carli Lloyd!!’n LOL!!!!! Can never be too woke! Nnn Carli Lloyd stood as Megan Rapinoe and her Black teammates kneeled during the pregame national anthem on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Mere hours later, she insisted that the #USWNT "has each other's backs" (me for @SportsInsider): https://t.co/Y75KVirUyX— Meredith Cash (@mercash22) January 19, 2021
^^^ Um, ma'am, if it is your local loveable youth league team, meh, I guess. Walk away from the players if you so desire if their lack of community activism isn't what you demand it to be from a team you love. However, if you are talking about your local professional team your support, being on a pro team is how the players provide for their family, feed their children. It is their job. And on any job, they have a specific task to perform to keep their job so says their bosses who in turn answer to an owner. What each players' political leanings have to do with getting their specific tasks completed is a wash. Take it easy Maggie, try not to put on a hook someone that has a job to do for the very reason they don't think or march in the streets like you do. One more thing, we all used to turn to our sports to escape the messy United States political realm did we not. As soccer fans, we are ahead of the curve on this are we not? Recall when the U.S. played Iran in Group Play at France1998. A battle of opposing cultures and certainly combative political terms for sure but as well a day when for the first time ever in World Cup history, the two opposing teams formed up and had the global media take the customary team pictures as a unified snap shot of sportsmanship and class.

Oh, so I guess kneeling didn’t actually do anything other than disrespect the flag, huh? https://www.espn.com/soccer/united-...hase-in-anthem-debatefight-for-racial-justice
If only they had used an American flag to beat a police officer to death over a lie. Now that would be respectful. Huh?!
The USWNT social justice warriors have been lying the whole time but the woke media and radical left fans seem to like the lying

The vote – 71% in favor with only a simply majority required – directly followed this sensational seven-minute dissent by Seth Jahn, a US Paralympian who is a current member US Soccer Athlete Council. pic.twitter.com/vH4Pc4vkT4— Bryan Armen Graham (@BryanAGraham) February 27, 2021
Since it was deleted, the woke soccer brigade didn’t like what this guy said (I have yet to see anyone factually debate him) so they have to get rid of him for having a dissenting view. we better never get in another real war in this country because we have no chance of winning Statement from the Athlete Council regarding Seth Jahn. pic.twitter.com/lYhsdn9BZu— Chris Ahrens, PLY (@chrisahrens) March 1, 2021
we don’t have the will to seal our border much less win a war. Winning a war means beating an opponent into submission, not worrying about making sure we can have transgenders in the military. We are lucky Mexico doesn’t have a real military!!
The NWSL is starting off the 2021 season with a return of the Challenge Cup from last year but this time it will be played at home stadiums. https://www.houstondynamofc.com/hou...1-nwsl-challenge-cup-pres-secret-april-9-bbva The Dash will start by hosting the Chicago Red Stars on Friday, April 9. That is a rematch of the final from last year. The game will be shown on CBSSN and Twitch. The rest of the tournament schedule will be announced later this week. The actual regular season starts in May.
While Westie might be over the top in drawing a straight line between good ol' fashioned American fighting spirit and the new front in American society of our "woke warriors". Those few in our nation that low talk anyone they feel stands against their mindset in life. I will say there is the very true sentiment out there in our society among our fellow American men and women older than say 45ish that if the "what if" scenario of a third global conflict would occur, then how would the current generation of combat age American men and American women react? React not only to harsh rhetoric, their Drill Sergeants demand for excellence and before mentioned American fighting spirit, or actual situations where other people from other nations are being really mean to this younger generation by being so offensive. Going as far as to start shooting small pieces of lead at their faces, how would our younger generation come together in another global conflict when even movies from the 90's are now deemed inappropriate! I don't lose sleep over this but as an old high school coach I will testify that inside of just one American generation of teens, so much has changed for them not so by their demands but by a significant shift in how American culture defines itself, how much American culture has moved from me thinking, to we thinking to now a focus on the low hanging fruit while many ignore our collective roof is on fire.
