If I were an Iraqi, I would rather Saddam still be in power.

    It sure does.

Will you please refresh my memory on why we went to war with Iraq.

Wars of choice based on false information suck even more.

A pithy answer shows no consideration of the human suffering resulting from catastrophic decisions.

Absolutely. Less deaths per year and plumbing to boot!

[War apologist]Yeah, but it's a household survey. Don't you know that phone surveys are a much better indicator of stats like these? Household surveys try to measure things like intent, and it's spotty. If you're not dead but you're still willing to die against the occupying American infidels, you're counted as living in the household survey. That's just not right. You could be dead "on the side", selling your soul on eBay, and we have no way of tracking that. But in the phone survey, you're only counted as dead if you pick up the phone and declare yourself dead. See? It's a much more absolute, defendable calculation.[/War apologist]

Well, they're not like us are they? I mean they don't place the value on life like we do, so it doesn't mean as much when family members get blown away.
