I agree with you JCVF. One thing that is alarming is the passing of the back four, they continue to attempt dangerous passes out of the back and give possession in dangerous positions. We don't have any midfielder that can pass a player open, and throw a pass into a vacant spot. Ramon needs to find his game back, he is extremely vital to this team, and he needs to take command of the team and make something happen alongside Boniek. They are not great passers, but seem to be the only ones that can get by their defenders and force the defense to break down. The spacing of the team is horrible at times, they all seem to get close to the ball and don't make the defense defend the whole field. I can't remember the last time they attempted to change fields and move the ball from the left to the right, everything seems to be vertical. Also the players need to learn to come back to the ball, they always wait for the ball to get to them, and often times it is an easy interception for the opposition. Only Pery seems to show himself well, find the soft spot in the defense and come back for the ball; too bad that he is not too good dribbler, passer, or finisher once he gets the ball. I have liked some of the ideas the players have had, but a bunch of promising chances have been squandered by bad passing and the players never seem to be in the same page. Often times passes go directly to the opposition with no teammate anywhere in sight, that is unacceptable for a bunch of professional players. They seem to be trying to play too fast for their abilities, they need to slow down a little bit and just use quick bursts of speed and stop going at 100 mph all the time and then not being able to cross, pass or shoot accurately.
