Are these going to be available in the US and in NON-pal/European version?

Yes, just released for USA. Fairly widely available, I find it shows up at Amazon, just search for "history of soccer". They have it for $89.98, you can probably find it for somewhat less.

I saw this mini-series on a local public TV station last year. It's pretty good, but some people around here might think that they gave short shrift to Pele's time with the Cosmos during the Pele episode.
