I don't really care which one people use to describe me but when i describe myself i use the word Hispanic more and I'm a hardcore Texas Democrat. Your theory has holes in it.
It is not a theory. I went by states. Hispanics is mostly use in Red States and Latino in Blue States. That is all. No generalizations implied. Anyway
