The N.O.W. NY press release is really making the rounds. Just showed up on Drudge. It ain't gonna help HRC -- not one bit.

You're insane. Who do you think runs Hillary's campaign? Terry McAullife, Mark Penn and the rest -- they are the Democratic establishment. They're the same people that ran Gore's and Kerry's doomed, ************ campaigns in 200 and 2004. I hate McAulliffe and Penn because there just Bill Clinton's money guys. They're entrenched, out of touch with real Democrats and they use the establishment slash and burn tactics that characterize some of the dirty history of the Democratic party. Hillary and her staff are the Democratic establishment; don't kid yourself.

It's great to see people rush to cannibalized themselves, making themselves look foolish and petty. I would think that not judging people based on gender would be the goal of NOW, but apparently it's just the opposite.

I wonder if Drudge is a Bigsoccer member. I bet he steals all his material from here.

Yeah, that's right. I'd forgotten the little drama of how he came to be the VP nominee. For awhile, there was talk of Gerald Ford being the VP, but I think that Ford wanted too much clout.

Too bad he didn't have dubya like Cheney did. Joseph Sobran once remarked that Cheney took a bucket of warm spit and made lemonade.

Ford basically wanted a co-presidency, but Reagan wasn't having it.

The author -- Marcia Pappas, President NOW, New York State -- is clearly a woman of strong opinions. Here's the heading to most recent release on their site:

"Psychological Gang Bang of Hillary is Proof We Need a Woman President"

    Thanks for the imagery, Marcia.
    (and the lesson in logic)

Sorry, but I'm serious. I want a new kind of politician. One who will fight the establishment and bring CHANGE to Washington DC.

No offense, Ben, but you're verging on self-parody lately.

And self-parody is evidently a condition beyond cognitive dissonance.

Yeah, 35 years of change. So much change, it's not even funny. More change than you can shake a stick at. That's Hillary - change, change, change. And when she gets tired of change, she makes even more change.

Serious change. None of this deck chairs on the Titanic change. Change that really changes things.

I think his point is that he wants REAL change. A change inspired by the people. Which, of course, means Hillary.

I never understood the love affair NOW had for Bill Clinton. The guy's a womenizer. I always felt that Bill played NOW like a drum to get his objectives.

We have been in this business a long time. With our experience, we're gonna have ideas for change combinations that probably haven't occurred to you. If you have a fifty-dollar bill, we can give you fifty singles. We can give you forty-nine singles and ten dimes. We can give you twenty-five twos. Come talk to us. We are not going to give you change that you don't want. If you come to us with a hundred-dollar bill, we're not going to give you two-thousand nickels unless that meets your particular change needs. We will give you.. the change.. equal to.. the amount of money.. that you want change for!

Yes, but wouldn't it be fair to say that NOW had it coming? I mean that was a pretty suggestive platform they were wearing in the 90s.
