Agree 100%. Always been a fan of his but now more than ever, I really hope to see him become a genuinely big deal as a player. He really is a great model for younger fans to look up to. 🗣 to all MPs pic.twitter.com/Dc4weMvTHN— Marcus Rashford (@MarcusRashford) June 16, 2020

An amazing young man for his charity work and especially in getting the UK free school meals continued. Remarkable.
When you know, you know. Fantastic work @MarcusRashford, making Manchester proud 👏 https://t.co/b3MfszHzxf— Manchester City (@ManCity) June 16, 2020 Did some research on who Katie Hopkins is: what a piece of work, an ugly and vile person (inside and out)...

I wouldn't bet against Marcus having a dominant display next time out. He's going to be mad at himself for not having a brace in this one.
He's looked REALLY rusty the past two games. Some of that is to be expected but we need him firing for the run in.
Yup. Agreed. I think it was good that he was getting into good positions. Really, he could have finished this game with 2 goals and 2 assists.
Yeah, movements and his ideas were good. But his control was poor, he was trying to just push past and run by people and his speed definitely isnt fully back yet. That and his timing is definitely off. I'm not too worried. Hopefully one more game and then he shakes it off.
Yup, definitely not sharp, but still confident. I'd only be worried if he was lacking confidence. That pass he hit to AWB all along the ground? That was sweet but also only something he attempts if he's feeling himself. I also lol'd when he nutmegged that guy completely unnecessarily.
https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ord-blessed-manchester-united-mason-greenwood Great to see him back on the scoresheet yesterday. Was a shame about the other goal he scored that was called off for offside. He did well to find himself in position in the box to be at the end of AWB's cross. He's not off now from getting his sharpness back. Last thing opposition defenses will want to see, especially with the way Martial and Mase are rolling right now.
Something I noticed about his play recently. He's slowing things down or things are being slowed down for him. Probably by design, his roles have been simplified. He's doing his usual out to in runs and some runs straight down the flank or through the middle based on his starting position and where the ball is. That's all good and it is leading if not to chances for him, to space for Bruno. When he's not making those runs he's looking for passing triangles but he's not forcing things as much. Instead of always looking for a path to goal in the shortest possible sequence, he's playing the safe pass when that's the only thing on. When he gets time on the ball, he's raising his head and releasing players down the pitch in a way that he simply didn't before. He requires time to pick the pass, but Rashford on his heels 45 yards from goal hugging the touchline is about the least dangerous place opponents expect him to occupy. I think it is just a matter of time before he finds his feet again. I fully expect him to top 25 goals this season.
https://understat.com/player/556 Just stumbled onto this. You can scroll down and mess with it... Take a look at Rashford's shot map this season and compare it to last season and the season before. Just an unreal leap he's taken. Last year, 13 goals on 122 shots. This year, 20 goals from 113 shots. What changed? Shot location. He cut down a lot on the outside of the box and out wide shots and he's a lot more focussed now. Martial's shot map is beautiful for a young forward who is clearly gifted at shooting from distance. Still incredibly disciplined. Mason's shot map is all over the place but there's limited data and there's no way it holds up, but he's outshooting his xG by like double. For context, Martial who is a superb finisher scores at 20% better than xG... which is about the same as Messi. Very limited amount of data for Mase, not updated with post resumption stats so not anywhere near enough data, but wooof.
