Sept. 6 is the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, isn't it? So it's really TWO long weekend possibilities. That doesn't make COlumbus any more exciting, sadly.
Scratch that. I'm an idiot and apparently can't manage to look at the appropriate month in Outlook...
Too each his own. The time I spend with my friends usually makes the time fun or not for me, and since we spent a ton of time at O's, I had a blast. The tailgate was fun. The game itself ... well that sucked.
The only way I'm going to CBus on Memorial Day weekend is if there's a US friendly out there as well.... I'm still hoping for a Thurs/Sun trip to LA/LA, LA/SJ, LA,SLC, LA/COL (in that order) I really have no interest in Columbus. Houston, Dallas , Chicago or DC(besides playoff matches) this year... I could probably be coerced into a Dallas/KC or Dallas/Houston trip(provided we could get some support from our Dallas friends in Houston!) if those turn out to be the only combos available!
If we've got another late-season trip like Toronto, I'll try to go. Anything earlier than July is probably a no-go for me. Money is the devil.
As more of the schedule is released slowly, apparently this isn't as simple as every team we played twice last year at home, we play twice on the road. Which of course would have made sense. Saturday, June 28th, TFC, 7:30pm Saturday, August 23rd, @ TFC, 7:30pm This is according to the RPB's site. We're only playing TFC twice?
I just got an email saying the the schedule will be released later today, "including of course the date that the Los Angeles Galaxy and David Beckham will return to Foxborough." Guess they're going to be playing that one up again this year...
Of course they are. He didn't play, so there are still plenty of people that still want to see him. I don't know if we'll get the 30,000 we got last year, but I'd be surprised if we didn't come damn near close to it.
And yes, plan on the fun bitching and moaning about having to buy a four-pack (or something to that effect) again!

The away schedule friggin' sucks! No possible Thursday/Sunday away trips. Anyway, first bus trip to NY ... April 19th! Can we grow on the 130 we had last year?
What's with the three week break? Perhaps we'll be hosting a friendly? Superliga? [EDIT] I'll be 19 by August 23rd (July 31st) so I'm down assuming I've got a job and the funds necessary by then.
Adjusting the schedule to include the Champions League and the second round CONCACAF matches. So what the hell happened to making the schedule easier around the time of this competion? God MLS is stupid.
