I have no idea what prompts people to take the time to do things like this. But they do. So here they are. I don't get the joke, whatever it is. And yet I'm still somehow amused.
To continue the happy vibe, I will give Herr Levy props for selling Kevin Wimmer to Stoke for 17 million pounds. Wimmer rose to fame in the 2015-16 season when he stepped in for an injured Jan Vertonghen and played very well but like so many of our promising defenders, quickly nosedived. He is now struggling to get a game for Karlsruhe of the German second tier where he is on loan. Amazingly, he is only 28 years old. There must be some immutable law of time that makes supporters think that once players are sold from their team, they turn 38 the next season.
Getting a bit giddy for Sunday. It's not the biggest prize, if we're honest. And frankly, we'll probably get hammered. But we've got a Cup final, here. They can be fun, as Robbo, Hudd, Teemu, and Daws will tell you.
