What about the New England goal incorrectly called offside in the opening minutes? Exactly the same as the Santos call--player in offside position, but the guy who scored was onside.
No one was offsides...he was onside right before the ball was touched and a completely different player scored it. The linesman wasn't even on the line. Still it was a poor showing by Santos, I thought the champs would get out of this first round at least.
Are they MLS refs? I never saw those guys before. I htought they were from Central America and the Carribean. Far as the Pachuca PK, sure it was quesitonable, but he cross his arms in front of him to deflect it. The question is whether they were 'part of his body' or not. They were pretty close to his body--but then again, as I said the refs also hosed NE on their early goal. Gotta say, sure sounds like you guys are making excuses, though.
They're showing the offside call right now on Contacto. the guy on the left of the screen is clearly offside, but not in the play. The player who scored was onside, just like the Revs first goal that was disallowed.
not an excuse. Just pointing out as to why we give no respect to this crap league and their crap fields and crap refs. This tourney has pretty much proven it
Was too depressed and went to bed immediately. Seriously, DC sucked big time. Houston was a better game, and the Chivas goal was great.
Again, they're not MLS refs, AFAIK. I wish I knew what the deal with Houston's pitch was. It's actually usually pretty nice.
lol according to some of them both games tonight were classics and they are wetting themselves thinking of a chivas vs chivas usa game lmao
lol exactly why do mls fans want a chivas vs chivas game?? i mean seriously do they think we give a flying fck about them?
