Isn’t this situation similar to Sean Johnson? The lack of playing time seems to have coincided with his call up to the national team. I don’t know if he came back with a bad attitude or what, but he should be playing more given his time with the national team and being a better player than the alternatives.
I never heard anything about Sean Johnson having a bad attitude. Of course, I am not on Reddit, so I must not know anything.
I agree, I don't think that Sean had any issues with attitude. This just screams out to me about Pauno's "practicing cheerfully" comments. If any Fire player is not available to practice with the Fire due to national team call ups, it appears that they end up in Pauno's doghouse. Pauno seems really harsh on those players who could be called up - Frankowski, Katai, Nikolic, and now Djordje. I wonder what would have happened to Nikolic earlier in his Fire tenure if he wasn't constantly turning down call ups. It is sad.
A player who throws a fit even though the team won a big game because he didn't start isn't about the team. His performances have been half ass for several months now. Katai responded well to his benching and is putting in solid defensive effort. Mihailovic is still going through the motions every time he gets subbed on. At least Katai is good enough to have an attitude, Djordje isn't. If Katai can respond positively, no reason Djordje should keep pouting.
Again, there is no evidence of him throwing a fit. The team has been half ass, much to that is down to coaching.
Not sure where to put this, here, Hauptman, Nrod or Pauno threads. So I'll leave it here. https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019/08/26/warshaw-24-takeaways-around-mls-after-week-25 Chicago Fire I’m going to make a rule in which if I leave you until last three weeks in a row, I get to skip you for a week. I put a lot of faith into Chicago this year and they have always found a way to let me down. #NRodOut #PaunoOut #HauptmanOut
What an exhausting forum. As I can tell I am still not welcome here, you won't be seeing me around anymore.
It is exhausting, I enjoyed your company and thought you took the abuse rather well. Hope you reconsider.

Anybody can lose with shitty players, but it takes a special type of 'fully charged' moron to lose with quality players.
Good for Katai, bad for us. Well are season is just about over. https://www.chicago-fire.com/post/2...andar-katai-named-serbia-national-team-roster Our game against F*C* Dallas is 4 days later. Not only that, but he won't be at practice, practicing cheerfully and Pauno doesn't like it when players go on international duty. So NO way Pauno includes him in the 18 man game roster.
