The MetroStars still lack a field general as they continue their pursuit of Honduran national team captain Amado Guevara, who "definitely can help our team," Bradley said.

One player definitely won't be with the team - former MetroStars midfielder Jim Rooney, who left camp.

"Jimmy's a great guy," Bradley said. "When you look at some of the positions we have with young players and salary cap, it looked hard for him to make the team."

French midfielder Frederic Meyriou left Metros camp Sunday and it is unclear whether he will join the team for it's training camp in Argentina, which begins March 14. English forward Tommy Mooney, Scottish defender Kieran McAnespie and former Metros forward Giovanni Savarese were still with the team as of Monday.
