Rudy Herrera-Marmol - Guatemala City, Guatemala

One player enjoying the culture, education, soccer and weather of Brazil in 2009 is Rudy Herrera-Marmol and here is short reflection his experience so far.
I am from Guatemala and so Brazilian culture feels close to mine and although I have noticed many differences, I have quickly become accustomed to life here and would consider living here in the future. São Paulo is a unique city, it has a lot to offer and it represents many aspects of Brazil while simultaneously being a cosmopolitan center in the region. Although I miss Macalester, I have enjoyed a warmer São Paulo in January and February.

This guy is related to Andrea Haeussler?? She's a singer that participated in the casting for the Mexican reality show La Academia Última Generación. She made it to the top 10 in the Guatemala casting but was unable to make it to the final 25 in the Mexico city casting.

We got more contacts lads, i managed to get in contact with one of the scouts here in the United States for Universities this is what he wrote me.

"That is correct Les. We also have Jose Abreu who just received a
scholarship to play at UNC Pembroke and we will have five Guatemalan players come here in the fall". Richie Arenas can give you details about
    them.
