If guatemala doesnt go to the World Cup this time, they will never ever go... it is really easy this time, 3 1/2 spots, only 6 teams (2 are consider as weak teams), either HON or CR out..... sounds like an easy way for them, Do you guys imagine how easy this will be for MEX ans US??? Not fair fo me

    It's Venezuela's "B" team.
Only 2 players from the national team, the rest is half bench and half people getting a chance to show their stuff.

I read that Venezuela had control of the game all the way and that Ruiz just took advantage of a mistake at the end of the game to score ... Is that true ?

I was listening the game from minute 1, Venezuela indeed had control of the 1st. time. The second time turned interesting with both teams trying to find the net, they both had possession of the ball, I'd say 50/50.

About the goal, yes Carlos took advantage of a defense mistake, but that's how you score, Venezuela had their chances too. But you know how it is, you win games with goals, not just playing nice and having control of the game.

I'm leaving this link, if i'm not allowed to, please some let me know for future posts.

    Here's the highlights!

Welcome to BS Balam_Acab, thanX for your useful info. where are you from, GUA?

Seem that Ruiz saved GUA again....I guess they played with an A-B squad 'cause the local championship final game(comunic(2) vs Municip.(9)) was on the same week.

Actually, it was the A side, with nine of the usual eleven starters. Only centerbacks Pablo Melgar and Gustavo Cabrera were missing, and Cabrera came in before the first half was over.

    Re: Friendly v. colombia- 2005

Do you have a link for this? And perhaps more to the point, does it say where in LA the games will be played?

    Thanks!

That's odd!Since they are about 10 million living in the country.Add this to the fact that their football league is an okay one and that football is the number one sport....

What about Carlos Pesseroti or something. He was signed by Bolton last year. Did he return?

Are you serious???? I am part guatemalan so i could bag on them. He is SLOW!!!! He only had about 5 goals in the guatemalan season this year. Hasn't done much for guate except for that Guate and Honduras game when he scored the second goal (he was in front of the goal). Oh yeah, by the way, it's DWIGHT PEZZAROSI. Some genius you are!!!!!!
