    from tailend of Reuters report:

FIFA's deputy general secretary Jerome Champagne added that FIFA had temporarily lifted the suspension imposed on Guatemala following governmental interference in the running of the Guatemalan FA last year.

The situation in the central American country would be reviewed when the executive committee met in Paris on May 17.

Thanks. it looks like FIFA is bending over backwards to make sure Guatemala competes in WCQ's in June and after. Too bad it wasn't done in time to allow Guat to play in current Women's Olympic Qualifying tournamnet in CR they earlier qualified for.

Guatemala has been becoming tough over past few years, this will be bad news for all of Canada, Costa rca and Hoduras for the semis this fall.

Probably means they'll make sure Belize competes against Canada in June too.
