not that I am aware of.lol....They just have a different accent and use some different words. Just a different way of speaking Portuguese. Just like most of the spanish speaking countries have a different accent and some different words.
Have you heard of the term portonhol before? It's like Spanglish (mixture of spanish and english). I think at least some brazilians speak portonhol.
It's portunhol. Here in Brasil they say that a person is speaking portunhol when someone try to speak spanish without success, so basically speaks portuguese with some spanish words and with spanish accent. Exemple - Luxemburgo in all interviews he had in Spain.
