The US team should roll out their poorest lineup and continue talking about how they plan on beating Mexico. If there’s one thing that Mexico cannot mentally handle, it’s being insulted. They absolutely break down. The thought of the US team not taking them seriously would be enough to thrown them off.

Another way to look at it is that they're both going to have to use their "best team," including guys in danger of yellow card suspension, etc.. Let's hope they play an intense overtime match.

We have the luxury to rest guys on yellow cards and with slight knocks. Canada/Honduras won't. Those draws yesterday helped the US squad.

I think there's nothing to lose for us in this game. Mexico's playing at home, this is close to their best team (they are missing about four players), and this is our C/D team (missing about 30 players). Mexico is supposed to win. If we beat them or even draw, thats a good result for us against the other best team in the region. It shows our superior depth if we can get a good result against them. If we lose, we were playing with players who are unlikely to play for the USMNT. These are the U-23's of the U-23's.
