10 Nov Westerlo vs St. Truiden 14:45 EST Not on ESPN + Both teams will be looking at this match as one to earn points. Yow seems to have moved into a starting role and last week's match did not really do anything to change that. St. Truiden has been pretty good this season on defense, but there are chances to score there.
25 Nov Sporting Charleoi vs Westerlo 12:15 EST No on ESPN + Yow is in an interesting spot. He is getting time on the field and starts on a consistent manner. He will need to become more impactful to keep his spot. After the recent U23 camp, he was being mentioned as a possible call-up to the next one if he keeps playing and playing well.

15 matches down, half way through the season (prior to the playoff round) Report Card. 311 minutes played 6 matches played 2 goals 1 assist Westerlo currently sits in 15th place 5 points from safety outside of the Relegation play-off. There is no question that Westerlo has been the season's greatest disappointment. They spent a good amount, including purchasing Reynolds from Roma. It has not really worked out well for them. They have only scored 20 goals, while conceding 29. They have a -9 GD. Yow finally broke through in October. An early season knee injury kept him out of the first 7 matches and then two rehab starts with the youth team. Of the five league matches he has played, three were starts and two as a super sub. Both sub appearance saw him score goals. He has played both right mid as well as forward. He has played pretty well and looks to be a key player moving forward. Matches prior to the Christmas break: vs Anderlecht (2nd place) @ Kortrijk (16th place) vs Eupen (13th place) @ Antwerp (5th place) vs Molenbeek (11th place) Westerlo actually has a chance to really make a move up the stable prior to the Christmas break. If they were defeat their direct competitors, it would spur on the owners to invest a little more in the winter transfer window. This stretch is huge for the club. Yow grade - B -
1 Dec Westerlo vs Anderlecht 14:45 EST On ESPN + I would expect Yow to start. He could be one of three YA's on the field this evening.
I saw the result by accident before watching so I just FF to the assist and it was pretty nice. Dribbled away from three players and puts a lovely feathered cross to the far post for a nice headed goal. Too little too late, but nice to see Yow getting on the score sheet again.
New manager for Griffin as Jonas de Rock is fired. Yow got his breakthrough with de Rock. It will be interesting to see if he gets the same playing time with a new manager.
under-the-radar, he's been producing well on a per-minute basis hopefully not another "unfair" situation cropping up here, as seems so often in YA land.
Yow is really providing an attacking spark to the team. He had a great chance early in the match to score, but a fine defensive save prevented it. One could argue that he is the best attacking player on the team right now. Highlights start around 35 seconds in.
Yow was the only attacker that Reyna trusted at U17 level from what I saw. When Pepi was brought in they didn't click probably because it was a last minute addition and there wasn't time for chemistry. Maybe Reyna knew something.
8 Dec Kortrijk vs Westerlo 14:45 EST On ESPN + Huge match for both teams. Yow should start in what could see another match with 3 YA's on the field.
