Its nice to see that the Dr has Andrulis on some very good drugs.....hopefully his judgement will continue to be impared
Personally, I think this was hilarious. And I'll add another thought - maybe Andrulis is going for imfamy - from now on when a coach benches a star for a wiley veteren to lose a game, it will be known as "pulling your Andrulis".
Just read the article. In other news, I just jammed an icepick into the gums below my lower left molars six times. Not sure which I enjoyed more.
Greg, scoring in the A-League and scoring in MLS are different. It was not like NE had an insurmountable goal differential that needed to be addressed by shaking up the team. The Crew played an uninspired game in NE and just needed to get back to playing for each other. Greg thought that the quiet home crowd would appreciate the Crew's Halloween disguise, uninspired soccer team ready for some golf.
I've read some good articles from Ian, but IMO this isn't one of them Andrulis led his team to the best record in MLS. He didn't miss the PKs, did he. Cunningham and Buddle played in the previous game and nobody scored, so he had a case (though I wouldn't have agreed with it) to start Dante Washington to see if they could get a goal this time. At some point you have to blame the players on the field for not executing. We're not Crew fans here. Cheap shots at a man who is clearly down is what Crew fans are supposed to do, not United fans.
I had to change my boxers halfway through the article, and again at the end. Kudos to Ian. I just wish he'd give me some laundry money! --kravi
what is the german word for feeling joy when somebody youhate falls on hard times? CAUSE THATS WHAT IM FEELING NOW! They don't get into the playoff's last year, have this suspect streak this year, and don't win a single playoff game. Im out there AND I"M LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!! I hope they keep the druler until he's as old as Preki.
It has an "e" (schadenfreude), just like offside in soccer has an "s" (offsides). http://dictionary.reference.com/wordoftheday/archive/2000/05/10.html
Actually, I think the terminology that will eventually be used is: "He was Andrulisized" as in "I almost had a hat trick but the coach Andrulisized us and subbed me out for his son" or "I still remember when Sampson Andrulisized his squad by starting Chad Deering in a WC Openner against Germany."
