El Pibe stated that he will be back for one more year. There is a link to the story in the Colombianos en el Calcio thread.

One of my favorite players ever. He would be on my World All Star team.
He gave the MLS 7 great years.
    Parabens El Pibe. Boa sorte

The way he plays he could still play in the MLS, at least 5 more years, and still be the best playmaker in the league.

If I read the article correct his contract with the MLS finish's at the end of October.
If its the end of El Pibe I wish the MLS would have done a better job of promotting is farewell.

He will be in the National Hall of Fame but he as to wait is time, I believe a couple years. If Giorgio Chinaglia, and Bogiecevic another Cosmos and playmaker made the Hall of Fame El Pibe will be in.
Know according to www.majorleaguesoccer.com they say El Pibe will be back another year. The story is on the left side.

best news I have heard all week. I truly hope El Pibe stays for one more year.

Although the talk of moving him to another team is pretty crappy....how many times does MLS have to ship him around ?

If they were to move him, I'd hand him over to Ray Hudson and DC Utd....El Pibe and El Diablo working off each other would be incredible...it would be a slow midfield, but the passing alone would have Ray talking all day and night.
