    quite a decision, that Muma strike was an amazing volley, but the skill and timing on the Corrales flick to the backheel and how it was the game-winner after the great comeback I had to go with Wondo. Doesn't matter, neither are going to win. GOTW is a joke.

    Two guys up for it from the Quakes will split the vote and probably allow Beckham to win it, which is what the Beckham-loving editors of mlssoccer.com want.

    Just tying up loose ends of the thread... as others have mentioned GOTW voting seems pretty BS but in this case the BS worked in our favor. I recall going into the last day of voting that Beckham's freekick was way ahead, but miraculously Wondo ended up winning... and he should have, that goal was amazing on multiple fronts. I just wish the announcers had done a better job on it.
