To be fair, two women kissing is a beautiful beautiful thing. Two men is like raisins in the potato salad.

 

Why?

 

Well because I am a heterosexual male, of course.

 

Sorry, but that's not going to work with me, unless you are saying all heterosexual males are inherently insecure with their own masculinity.

 

More we find women sexy so two women kissing is sexy. If you don't find men sexy, two me. Kissing is not sexy.

 

Well, speaking as a straight guy who's known a lot of straight guys, I wouldn't say "all," but it seems to me there sure are a lot of straight guys who are insecure about their own masculinity. Not sure why that is, though I guess I've got some ideas. But I think it's true.

 

That is one of the reasons why that movie is superior - writings wise - to the rest of the franchise. Whereas Thunderdome was still about an escape to a magical place where they would all be safe, the lesson of Fury Road is that no such place exists and all you can do is return to the bad place you came from and try to make it better.

 

To return briefly to the honorary KKK member, I'm actually surprised to find out that a picture of doing the Nazi salute in front of a burning cross is still disqualifying for the MAGA GOP.

 

Well, I don't either. But based on what we've heard for a long time from the MAGA crowd -- and what we are seeing in the courts, there is a higher than average chance that the only way to stop or at least dissuade the MAGA crowd is for people like Stephen Miller, Bannon, MTG, Comer, and your local red-hat wearer to randomly end up with a bullet in their head with a "Dark Brandon" death card tossed on the body.

Unless I am missing some third way of stopping them once they have consolidated power. Anyone who thinks Trump will only serve one more term if he wins the election is delusional.

 

Maybe it's just me, but it's kinda overrated

 

This is where Comer perhaps realized he was not nearly as smart and clever as he thought he was.

 

I doubt that. I'm positive he thinks he is far smarter and cleverer than he truly is.

 

Assuming he lives long enough, of course. The fight to replace him when he dies would be epic - Death of Stalin but with shadier people.

 

There is no self-realization with his type

And this will be his undoing, eventually
