In general I'm against making fun of the mentally & physically handicapped...but there are exceptions Gosar is struggling. None of the witnesses understand him. pic.twitter.com/OEStyo5alD— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) February 8, 2023
These hearings are going great!!! Mere minutes after an angry Clay Higgins went on a shocking rant against ex-Twitter officials, threatening them with arrest, James Comer brazenly denied any such thing had happened. Watch: https://t.co/vo82InT2Mc— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) February 8, 2023
It's interesting following the Twitter hearing that Taibbi has been revealed as a shill. But what kind of shill? 1. He was played by Musk. Musk withheld the bad stuff on Republicans. Taibbi trashed his 'journalist credentials' 2. He wrote fanfic for Musk knowing that was the job and thus sold out his 'journalist credentials' 3. Taibbi was a red pilled fellow traveller all along I have to say I mostly thought it was 2 - because that is how he built his lucrative substack but now i wonder if he really believes all his Russia Hoax stuff. Taibbi: “We didn’t see one reference to moderation requests from the Trump campaign, the Trump WH, or Republicans generally.” ….didn’t see? Or didn’t look? Because it’s now known that there were “voluminous” requests from both the Trump WH *and* Republicans. https://t.co/RlEaWkBL5M— Caroline Orr Bueno, Ph.D (@RVAwonk) February 9, 2023
I don't think so. He's 5/8ths Irish and 3/8ths English. Could you translate Gosar's rant for me please.
He's from Scranton. That's not the frontier. At least not for about three centuries. Now, if you really want to go hardcore...
I know I'm going back on this, but wanted to relay a funny/chilling story my ex (yes, her again) told me. As I have said before, she grew up in Ecuador. Growing up, her dad was a fairly successful shoe manufacturer. Most of the stuff he did was higher end, and often did customer orders, and occasionally delivered the shoes himself. So, he had a contract with the police, I think, in southern Colombia, possibly even Cali. I'm not sure where, but they would order boots he made every year or so. So he gets this one order, and it is a rush order, and they are willing to pay a lot for them. So her dad decides to take the the boots to them, on an overnight trip. And for some reason, takes my ex along with him. Keep in mind, this is late 1980s. So they get to the border, and since he made the occasional trip, knew it would be easy to cross as he had business (no bribes as he was wanted to do everything 100% legal). They get to the border in the evening, and they see that the border guards are FARC. He's worried, but he had dealt with them before without issue. As they get to the guard, he looks at the the boots they are wearing and see they are the ones he makes. But he's cool and does his salesman speech, or something, and they let him go. It wasn't until they got back to Ecuador that he told my ex how much danger they were in.
We call the GOP performative. But when somebody like Rupar tags the GOP, that, too, is performative. That needs to go to the MSM so they can properly report the hypocrisy of the GOP.
It's not like the MSM isn't aware of this stuff. They're choosing not to write stories about it. The example given - Republican House leader McCarthy tweets a clearly antisemitic statement shortly before the election - the MSM didn't put any stories out there. Republicans being antisemitic is baked into their coverage. It's not news when a Republican does it. It is news when a Democrat does it - see stories about Ilhan Omar criticizing Israel - but not when the Republican leader does it. We have a whole thread about the conservatively biased media.
"But, but, but we can't be anti-Semitic, we LOVE Israel!"-basically every non-overt anti-Semitic Republican ever. Hell some are even Jew-ish.
MSM can't report this because it wound mean uncomfortable visits to Pig's Knuckle, AR or wherever on Thanksgiving.
@JohnR , you know the sayin' Seems like a familiar story. pic.twitter.com/UwyvqtigbS— The Intellectualist (@highbrow_nobrow) February 8, 2023
Again, anytime someone speaks out so vehemently against LGBT+, you should immediately assume they're hiding something. It simply never fails.
Exactly - like Biden's receipts today - how come the MSM can't write that story themselves without Biden's help? Anyone and everyone knows the GOP plan to slash entitlements - except low attention voters, because the media don't cover it.
A groper and an enabler enter CPAC… The juxtaposition of the guy who covered up sexual abuse in a university wrestling program next to the guy accused of fondling the genitals of his driver is quite something. I'd say they were scraping the bottom of the barrel, but it's not just the bottom, it's the whole barrel.— Anne (@SparksMom53) February 9, 2023
The pronunciation of phone as "phoone" is the dead giveaway for me that it's a Philly-area resident I'm dealing with. Not sure if Scrantonians talk the same. And I enjoy The Office but the bright California sunshine and tall dusty mountains ain't the PA I've been to.
Really? There's not a single one of them that is just your garden variety repressed male? Not a single one?
