Just stone them all.. “Party of law and order” < “bunch of sinners” https://t.co/xB1nLZD4jF— Carl Quintanilla (@carlquintanilla) December 1, 2023 Resolution 420.
I am rooting for Santos to stay and be an albatross around their neck next year! Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) plans to vote against ousting Rep. George Santos (R-NY), Politico reports. CNN reports Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA) is also opposed. The Washington Examiner reports Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN) is also opposed. Politico reports Republican Conference chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) is also opposed.
The problem is they've got so many albatrosses around their collective neck that they're likely to stay flying around for years without landing.

So on local news a reporter said that Dems & Rs pick a candidate to run for the special election within 60-70 days from now. Hakeem Jeffries said Tom Suozzi could be the man for the Dems. A "mad scramble" on R side She talked to George last nite and he said that he got in with "bad people" Also liked the idea of being 1 of 6 removed from House. Like a "badge of honor" JFC
That's leadership, and they want the additional vote. No surprise that they oppose the ouster. Interesting that Dems have 7 non-Yay votes. I'm assuming that some of the NV where out of town, or otherwise engaged. But the Nay and Pres?
Wonder if they'll ever come around on the Orange Fraudster... “I was OK with him defrauding the American people, but I’m voting to expel because he defrauded ME.”— otherguyfromwham (@otherguyfromwha) December 1, 2023
Excluding people who did not vote or voted present, 73 percent voted to expel. Of New York's eleven Republicans, eight voted to expel, and the only downstate Republican who voted against expulsion was Santos. The eight representatives who did not vote include Kevin McCarthy, AOC, and Dean Phillips. 206 Democrats voted to expel, 3 did not vote, Al Green and Jonathan Jackson voted present, and Robert "Bobby" Scott and Nikema Williams voted nay. New York has more districts with no candidates yet (11) than districts with incumbents who declared they are running (9). District 3 that had Santos has 15 candidates, which is tied for the third most of any district. The other districts with at least 15 are Alabama's new majority-minority district, and districts that California's Adam Schiff and Maryland's David Trone are leaving to run for senator. Celeste Maloy took her oath three days ago after winning a special election. I wonder if this is the shortest period of time from the only vacancy being filled to another vacany being made.
Sadly, this picture is from too long ago, so she can’t play him now. But the resemblance is there. Shoot, it won’t post. It’s a picture of Roseanne from I think the 90s.
In his first interview after being ousted from the House, George Santos said "It's a difficult day for me, that's for sure. But at least the bad news is balanced out. This morning I was voted People's Sexiest Man Alive, and yesterday I won the World's Strongest Man competition for a record sixth time in a row."
George still has court cases & Iikely jail time Jim Trafficant's picture flashed as one of the greasy 6 who've gotten the boot
(apologies to Steve Miller) I'm a sinner I have steak dinners I'm a Botox'd-faced grinner I cheat my voters cuz it's fuu-uun
