http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/e/mascot.html FINALLY! A mascot worth looking at. the Olympics could learn a thing or two here No word on if they have a permanant warm body for him. I don't know where to look for Fifa Jobs.
Doesn't Pille the erudite ball look a bit too much like Naglium, the cruel, curious being in the Star Trek: the Next Generation episode titled "Where the Silence Has Lease"? Apparently, this isn't the only Star Trek connection to the 2006 World Cup mascots. Here's what came up when I Googled "Pille": ** ** http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pille ** Just 'cos I wear lederhosen doesn't mean I know German. Can anyone translate? Haven´t read the Wiki, but "Pille" is translated in english "pill", medicine. And "Pille" is in germany useful as a slang word for a ball. And the connection to Star Trek is, that in the german dubbing, the nickname of Dr. Mc Coy is: "Pille".
that is no ball! Its a demon from another dimension summoned by Sepp Blatter. To remain in our universe it needs to eat the souls of virgin...er non-virgin women and men!! now everyone be scared!!
