Since this will be a 16 team tournament for next summer's Gold Cup, we already know 12 out of the 16 teams that will be there:

    Canada
    USA (hosts)
    Mexico
    Honduras
    Jamaica
    Grenada
    El Salvador
    Curacao
    Costa Rica
    Martinique
    Suriname
    Panama

Which 4 countries will join them in qualifying?

    I think it will be:

    Haiti
    Trinidad and Tobago
    Guyana
    Guatemala

I'd think all bets are off at this time. We have no idea where things will be on Covid or on World Cup Qualifying this time next-year.

    Too soon ...

Financially, the Gold Cup in particular relies on big crowds in US stadiums.

I just don't see that happening unless there's a vaccine, or areas are Covid-free.

Given how late in the day we usually here about Gold Cup, I wouldn't be surprised if we here nothing until well into 2021 ... by which point the path forward will be more self-evident.

    Too soon!

Considering we are less than a year away from Gold Cup, which team do you guys see it winning it all? Which player will be the best young player to make their arrival on the world stage by shining the brightest? Which player do you see as CONCACAF Gold Cup top scorer?

My pick to win Gold Cup 2021 is an outsider...a team no one will give a chance and I say it will be Canada

Best young player that I see making their arrival on the world stage, by stealing the show at CONCACAF Gold Cup 2021 will be: Gio Reyna of USA

Now as far as who will be Gold Cup top scorer, I see it being: Raul Jimenez of Mexico

After WCQ in June I see the United States and Mexico resting most of their players and sending them back to their clubs. That being said it will give an opportunity for a country outside of USA and Mexico to possibly snag it. However, Mexico still has plenty of depth and I'd say even with a backup team they are favorites.

I wouldn't be surprised if an outsider won the Gold Cup

I would be surprised if there was a Gold Cup in 2021.
