Another update - my cluster does come with towels, and soap/shampoo dispensers. The coffee is instant unfortunately, for those who care ;)

None of those. 20k argentinos + big stadium = overestimated demand, many bought those to make money out of it.

We don’t have beer at the stadiums in Argentina, we are here for the football not for the drinks!

Beer widely available at fan fest. Just go and buy. Atmosphere now is a wc. I can confirm that loudest, more colorful and happiest fans are Mexicans by a mile. Considering getting m7 just for them.

Dunno if this has been posted before or not... This apparently official YouTube channel has a series of videos on transport to/from stadiums. Interestingly, they specifically mention the stadium to stadium express busses and the videos were only posted yesterday. It could be that they were produced some time ago and just never re-edited to exclude the express busses. Or maybe they're still on?

Here's an example of one of the videos (note the mention of the busses at about the 1:27 mark):

Yeah I love the idea of World Cups in different parts of the world. But Qatar has just been pretty disappointing. That said, I’m staying here with my wife and baby the entire month here so more than willing to give it a chance.

FOLKS - there is a laundry collection service at the clusters. It’s by cluster R5.

Loads of fans already here. And see lots of Indians and locals with jerseys on. Exciting! Makes me realize once again that despite all the stuff that’s gone on with Qatar, it’s us the fans that will always make it such a special experience, just like all my previous WCs.

I wonder if the cluster folks should just start a separate thread? A) makes it easier to find info, arrange meetups, etc. B) keeps this thread a bit more focused. Just a suggestion.

Wanted to say a big thank you to everyone providing updates of their travel experience, arrival in Qatar, situation at the airport etc. Hugely helpful and has got me super excited to go even though my flight is a week away!

Most British people going have to drink lots of beer. I don’t get it personally. You’d think this was the World Cup of drinking beer. It’s not as though Bud is the worlds finest drink it’s bloody horrible

Fab Fest at capacity. If you want to get in there once the tournament starts you're going to have to arrive early it seems.

There's already one for meet ups, but maybe another one big thread for Doha experiences plus stadium reports and transportation etc. as the ticket thread becomes a Wild West very soon

You guys can feel free to make a cluster thread. Seems like it would be useful as many will be staying there. We might even need a beer thread.
