Please stop posting links to articles/interviews/rumors on goal.com. The website has zero credibility and it is a waste of time to read it.

I am getting really tired of seeing posts, in the "team news" and "all things transfer" threads, using goal.com as a source.

I'm sorry. I didn't know that. From now on I won't use info from this site.

Thanks for clearing it out. :)

it can be reliable, but only because they copy everything they say from more reputable source out there. If it's stuff to deal with the future such as conjecture on who we might be getting, disregard it. But if it's actual quotes and such, Goal.com will just be copying someone else, so it's reasonably okay.

I think the point is, is that people see ANYTHING from there, regardless of its original source and post it in the boards. So, some decent information and a plethora of crap.

More you should one always check to see if they are re-reporting something that has been reported. What source is it? Re-reporting what the Daily Mail says is just reprocessed garbage. Look for specific authors. And if you can, try and corroborate with more source(s). Remember, Bayern are pretty tight lipped on a lot of stuff...so sometimes it isn't until the last second that people know about things. Also...take anything that Beckenbauer says with a grain of salt. :D

Haha Tribal Football isnt even a football website, its a site where English fans get together and gossip about what they would like to happen. Then they post a story about it. Some of the crap they write is ridiculous. Example - http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=89560

I use both of those as well, but again, both of those places pull or quote "already posted" stories. Some can be good and some bad.

i've got to say...the best is when someone trashes goal.com in one post in the transfer thread, and a couple of pages later posts some ridiculous rumor from the sun

if there's anything worse than goal.com, it's british tabloids

Modric did join Spurs though, didn't he.. I'm pretty sure he did.

Goal is crap, but they sometimes are right as they copy the right stuff at times. They have the website where they put sh!t, crap, bullsh!t with the occasional 1/10 chance of getting it from the right place. I usually go there a lot as I like reading rumours, but I can notice the difference between bullsh!t and something realistic.
