Bale doesn't plan on giving up a single cent to @realmadriden 💰https://t.co/kNWxYHyKzu pic.twitter.com/ISuMmPv7fx— MARCA in English 🇺🇸 (@MARCAinENGLISH) March 3, 2021
🎙| Mourinho: "Why has Bale taken so long to perform? Better ask Real Madrid. Maybe they can answer you and you will understand why it has cost him so much (to reach this level). Patience is the key."@tjcope pic.twitter.com/VCeHBs8OQb— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) March 3, 2021
Neither did Raul. Zidane is the only one I can remember who didn't hold the club at ransom financially.
That's good and bad, it seems like Zidane is totally aloof to the financial side of things which have can completely destroy a club with a bad transfers decisions over a few windows.
patience is the key? he wasn't shown patience here? whatever Moooo, wasn't he moaning just the other day about " working for a place" or something
Bale is not the guy that should be used as an example of "he didn't get his chances". He was always good for 3-4 man of the match games a season but that was all.. arguably I think most people think Flo extended far too much goodwill and we still can't even get rid of him. James, Odegaard, etc., let's talk... but Bale
Lol bro who cares let him take Bale permanently off our hands since he knows so much and has recovered him.
We should be the ones who rejoiced for his performance in London than the Tottenham fans. I don't want to see him suck and return. Or see him perform and permanently be a part of Totteham next season. I would be sweating if I were a Man United fan too. Bale's link might restart again and someone in Old Traford might be stupid enough to fund Real Madrid for Mbappe or Haaland.
Completed in line that bale was one to blame for this form in real Madrid but we missed out few things how come some players perform far better that what they did in madrid and why does some want to go away on loan gather than sticking around - it is sometime down to coach to motivate and try to make better use of them - we have lost good amount of talent because we would not able to rotate the squad effectively
I don't think Bale scoring a few goals provides any long term evidence in of itself, but if that continues I do think it would lend itself to what the poster above was questioning. It seems like over the last half decade we've disproportionately lost a lot of talent whether homegrown or purchased and seen them gone on to perform very well. Again, not sure if Baleinho scoring a few goals is rock solid evidence but it's a question that has a right to be asked.
It’s March, 2/3 of the premier league season is already complete and only now Bale seems to be finding his legs. After all the nonsense and poor play we went through with Bale, we cannot seriously be talking about missing his talent. We’re barely getting lucky that they might actually want to keep him for another season. Up until now, it seemed certain they wouldn’t even want him back on loan.
Yes Mou please show patience with him and take him back for another season. Only you can revive the Welsh dragon.
none as compared to real Madrid - list is long but few to name - Sergio reguilon - Hakimi -Theo Hernanadez -Marcos Llorente -Mario Hermoso Never forget Juan Mata, Eto, Fabinho were also at some point left madrid.
I imagine part of this would be because normally we have the best talent to choose from to begin with, we cannot keep everyone and have them all play for us and have everyone happy, players wants and needs have to be factored in to this as well, squads are only so big for a reason i'd say generally we've done very well although we have let some of the mentioned players go, we always have to choose, some of the really good ones may slip through but no club get's it absolutely correct, of all the players actually mentioned the only one i regret is Llorente and that's only after seeing what he could do in a different position at AM, not when he was initially let go, so, IMO, context.
🚨🚨| Gareth Bale’s journey at Real Madrid is OVER. He will not be part of the squad next season. @jfelixdiaz [🎖]— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) March 27, 2021
