Some nights he vented; other nights he dished. I got the feeling he liked the company—our conversations sometimes stretched for hours. “A very large portion of my party,” Romney told me one day, “really doesn’t believe in the Constitution.” https://t.co/khdW2iafq0— McKay Coppins (@mckaycoppins) September 13, 2023

romeny isn’t crazy. He a d bag for being a vulture capitalist. Basically Obama care is Romney care that he had In Massachusetts. He really the only republican j believe when he says his non sense. he isn’t racist, he believe in a weird religion that effects his world view but Christianity/Catholism is a fkd up world view in general. if you think we would be in the shit hole we are in without 4 years of Trump your crazy. Trump didn’t believe Covid was real and told people to drink bleach. We wouldn’t have had January 6th. he probably would have won a 2nd term. I mean I am not a Romney fan just funny how world ending people in the left and east coast made the dude sound then we got a real world ender romeny also would not have sided with Russia over the Us.
I guess you forgot how he went far right during the primaries? You remember that he was going to make it so miserable for people that they would self deport? Or when he said poor people were all lazy moochers who wanted free stuff. He aslo voted with Trump like 80 percent of the time and nobody got more money from the NRA then he did. ******** that guy Obama was the way better choice.
dude vs Trump .Romeny was a saint. Same with Bush. Romney wasn't that bad in Mass. Its just they have to say what their base wants
Nah, he's not a Saint, never been. He probably was a semi-decent person at some point but his life philosophy allows him to hurt people that he deems unworthy. He's a dying breed in the republican party, because he respects institutionalism and believes in a somewhat functional government, but remember he made most of his money buying companies, loading them with debt and then killing them liquidating their assets. Also worth noting, that he voted with Trump 90%, supporting most of his racist and xenophobic policies. of the time and he knew about January 6th before hand, yet fell back in line quickly after impeachment.
What part do you not understand Obama> Romney. Romney said that things about the poor when he was with his friends and didn’t think that it would get out. Also W was one of the worst presidents ever.
I was searching for an old cartoon in the politics forums and I went back to the 2010s and it was surprising (actually not, but I looked at the posts in a different light) how much the GQP policies back then were the same as now, the only difference being that they pretended to care about the governing process and that they were ...ahum... politically correct. The filters are off, so they say the quiet part out loud, but the policies are the same: Hurt the poor, kill the dark, oppress the different and give tax breaks to the rich and corporations. Oh, and to get back to Romney, his epitaph should read "Corporations are people my friend".
WOW! KELLY: But once you get a subpoena you have to turn them over.TRUMP: I know this. *pauses* I don't even know that. pic.twitter.com/X4zbcTUaqh— KevinlyFather 🇺🇲🇨🇦🇲🇼🇸🇿 (@KevinlyFather) September 14, 2023

Ramaswamy said it was a mystery when the WEF named him on a list of Young Global Leaders with other Americans and young people from around the world. He rejected the idea, saying he “deeply disagrees with the values of the World Economic Forum and that I wouldn’t be a good fit for inclusion.” After declining the award, he found out his photo appeared on the WEF’s website. He contacted it and told it to take his photo down, which it refused to do. While he is a successful American, he said he was not going to let WEF get away with that. He filed a lawsuit against it for putting up his photo. His lawsuit requested the organization take down his affiliation, apologize, and commit to never try to do the same action it did to him to another person. He said he was “prepared to go to the fullest extent because I had the arguments and the facts of the law on my side, and we were not going to stop and let them off the hook.” The WEF has agreed to his demands. While he was not in this case for the money, there was a financial component to the settlement. Ramaswamy acknowledged he did not want the money. He directed the money to the America First Policy Institute.

Something on class warfare: Barra has also been a board director of Disney since 2017.She is *very* close with Disney CEO Bob Iger. She sits on the board committee that oversees Iger’s enormous CEO pay.She wrote a fawning tribute for Iger at Time magazine earlier this year. pic.twitter.com/UTYAyTk5yg— Derek Seidman (@derekseidman80) September 16, 2023 If that’s not enough, Barra was also a board director of weapons’ giant General Dynamics from 2011 to 2017.
