Do we really need Two Defensive Mids? If by any case we need people to defend then Aquino and Guardado can come back and defend. And in attack Gio and Vela can both team up and create plays while Guardado and Aquino play the wings.

hell no. this kind of lineup only works in Fifa 13. Like it or not you need guys like Torrado, Chaton, Zavala etc. JDS isn't even a defensive mid, he's purely a distributor. You need a guy that will get physical in there. Also there is no need to play Aquino, Guardado, Gio, Vela, together unless you are playing a supreme bunkering team i guess.

That would get us absolutely raped....specially when you have slow ass maza in the backline lol.

 

Yeah, that's pretty much a suicide lineup.

 

Honestly, that midfield would get over-run and we would lose the battle of the middle every game against decent teams. Aquino & Guardado aren't true midfielders. JDS by himself in front of the back four looks really shaky. He isn't that type of player that can do that.

Honestly i feel like your lineup shows exactly whats wrong with the team....we have no reliable mids. I personally wouldn't mind seeing reyes in the midfield again, maybe Herrera or chaton there too.

Any matchup in the final is possible. Semi-final matchups have to be cross-group.

All the Brazilians I talk to like Mexico but don't want to meet Mexico in the Final (I wonder why? ), they would prefer a semi-final matchup but that would be impossible as they are in our group.

 

Honestly, I could give a fu@# about the Confed Cup right now if Mexico doesn't bag at least 6 points in the three games previous.

Interesting, that article says that there is a clause in his contract that says he can negotiate with another team if Mallorca gets relegated, I thought some posters on here were saying that was not the case. If this is true, we should be rooting for Gio to play well in these last 3 games, but Mallorca getting relegated since this will guarantee he goes not another team.
