The game is on a FIFA int'l fixture date. His club must release him.

I think it has a lot to do with the fact that many in the Charlton organization still don't believe Gibbs is a real person.

That doesn't mean Bradley has to ask them to.

Gibbs went a full 90 with the reserves again today. Id like to think a bench spot is coming up soon. One reserve fixture remains for Charlton, and they close out against Southampton, @ QPR, Barnsley, @ Coventry. Three basement dwellers and a Dr. Jeckyl Mr. Hyde QPR. If Charlton take care of the teams theyre supposed to, meaning all of these guys, theyll be rounding out the playoffs.

that and Sodje, one of Charlton's primary center backs, has broke his toe against Plymouth. So we could see Cory finally suit up against Southampton.:)

That would be a very good situation for Cory Gibbs. I just hope he can finally stay healthy for a whole year but maybe getting a few knocks here and there.

Apparently, Madjid Bougherra is supposed to step in for Sodje, and Johnathan Fortune will be promoted to the bench.

Gibbs needs more time. I assume they will be understandably cautious with him.

Gibbs gets another full 90 in the reserves today. Now that theyre officially eliminated from the playoffs makes you wonder if he will be trotted out in the final two matches against Barnsley or Coventry. This ones gonna come down to the wire wether Padrew swings his axe on Cory or not. He may wait until the England friendly to decide that one.

Well last game of the season is against Coventry, lets see if Gibbs is even given one trot out this year. If not, the three friendlies before WCQ are the most important in his career. You could techincally say that about lots of players though (Gooch, Boca, Bradley, Feilhaber are other examples).

Gooch could be looking for a big money move after his season. Germany anyone?

It is. No doubt. But France is a better fit I think.
