Yet another great piece of work. Thank you.

The lesser of the madrid derbies. It proved to be a tricky affair last season but I hope Schuster sitting in a different dugout will have a major impact on the outcome. with Lazio in midweek I see more rotations. I hope the Beast gets more time. Anyway I see a convincing 0-3 victory for us.

Regarding Laudrup's remark on Ustari no one knows where Ekstra Bladet got it from. No sauces or anything. On the other hand there were plenty reports of Laudrup backing him. Anyway, I hope we get to face Ustari and not Pato. :)

^ Well it might have been a direct comment to a Ekstra Blade reporter but seriously, WOW! .. What a A-hole comment by Laudrup.

I actually thought Ustari was one of the most promising GKs in Argentina. Bar$a were after him at one point, so he can't be that bad.

Anyway, how long has it been since we won at the Coliseum? I can remember atleast the last 3 years without a win there.

I'm guessing De la Red and Granero won't be allowed to play...?

Ruud and Gonzalo are not in the squadlist for Getafe. Yes, it says Ruud is injured.

Salgado and Soldado have been left out again, while Drenthe has returned, Balboa receives his first call-up.

It looks to me that Torres will start at RB again, with Marcelo on the other side. I hope Baptista starts alongside Raul upfront :D

Yeah. It gives the squad list too:

    Casillas, Dudek,
Torres, Sergio Ramos, Cannavaro, Heinze, Marcelo,
Diarra, Gago, Guti, Sneijder, Balboa, Drenthe, Robinho, Robben, Baptista,
    Saviola, Raul.

Pepe and Metzelder still injured. Salgado, Soldado and Higuain omitted. They also say the dart they threw at the board landed on Baptista for 'who will partner Raul?'.

    Curse you 'madridismo'.

How is Robinho playing? i had hopes that by his fourth season he would be ronaldinho-esque, but he has been overtaken by even Lionel Messi. how do you guys see him?

Nice to see Balboa get picked, hope De la red and Granero don't play. Players have a habit pf shining vs their old team.

    Welcome back :D

To be fair to Robinho, Messi has always actually been pretty good :p

I actually hope they do play, and perform great, short of winning them the match ofcourse [:p] and send a message to Senor Greasy Hair in the executive box.

Robinho isn't the only player that has been overtaken by Messi...

I doubt that there is a better (in form) player out there atm then Messi, maybe Fabregas but except for him i can't think of anyone else better then him.

I think it would be smarter to put Baptista in the midfield, because we all know he can't play as striker.
Let Robinho partner Raul and have a free role.

Yes, basically.Even if Kaka or Cristiano Ronaldo would be in Madrid, judging by Kaka's form in Italy so far, Messi would still look like he woul be in better shape at the moment.

I think there are more important things than personal achievements. If Real Madrid win the title/CdR and/or the Champions League, Messi and Henry can shower in money and awards for all i care.

This would be my team for tomorrow. Winning here will be hard even if Getafe have not won this season. Lets hope we can win. We played ok against Betis.

    ---------------Casillas---------------
    Ramos--Cannavaro---Hienze---Marcelo
    -----------------Diarra---------------
    Robinho------------------------Robben/Drenthe
    -----------------Guti-----------------
    --------Baptista----------Raul--------

Ramos at RB as Torres was so poor against betis. By the way i thought Ramos played very well at CB.

Robino on the right as e looked real good the other night.

Robben or Drenthe it's a though one as Robben looked real good last night. Still think he's not fit for 90 mins

Baptista has to play not just casue he scored the other night but becasue he played well as well.

    Hala Madrid

I don't know if it just me but i never felt that Robinho lived to the hype that surrounded him. Perhaps it was uncalled for or it might have been that he was thrown in this team while it was under crisis but IMO, I don't see Robinho ever delivering Kaka, Ronaldinho or even Cristiano Ronaldo performances. I of course hope he proves me wrong.

I believe Robben said himself that he is now ready to play from the start and play a entire game.
