he's certainly not helped himself this season, shame but yea i doubt we lose much if we were to offload him.
He doesn't get as much criticism as he deserves, I'd argue the ratio of Lucas hate versus Asensio is unfair...
Yep. I don't get it. I think I am one of the few here who thinks they are about the same.. but I prefer Lucas because he can play right back as well and sacrifices himself for the team. Asensio is like Trump.. when they say he can murder a child in 5th avenue in the middle of the day and he will remain president. lol
this team cannot win next season if they cant manage score and take chances on tough away grounds.. this is where u have to hustle for a goal and get 3 pts. these are the types of games that make differences in the league...
Real Madrid's midfield have been underwhelming even with Kroos-Modric on the field. Benzema has been doing that for majority of this season. It's the reason why I'd like to see a rewamp of RM's current midfield.
Modric has done great.. He always sets up Benezema with clear chances at least once or twice per game.

Worrying. If I’m anyone of the attackers who isn’t Benzema or Vinicius, I’d be worried about my place in the squad next season. I say attackers for obvious reasons, but the midfield also needs to step up, we’re not asking for prime Lampard numbers from midfield but at least some sort of goal threat would be a start.
Real Madrid have been awful in term of chance creation (outside Benz & Vini). There's a reason why Zidane/Pérez is relentless on going after Hazard...

I have to say Odegard is Dr.Sci of football and all can Isco and Lucas make is be his students, its strange that Madrid can even consider to loan him let it sell him! Odegard would make Real Madrid look very different team, his vision, vertical passes would destroy any defense, all we need is people to finish those.
I think it is because we ve all seen what Asensio is capable of whereas LV earning a RM starting spot is just completely off charts. Yes he does work his a%$ off but the guy is just not even Real Zaragoza quality. And I think the hate he gets is mostly hate on Flo and the fact that such a poor player shouldn't play for RM.
Asensio has never proven here that he is starting material. His best moments have been as a sub . He is the type of player who will get lost in 90mins and only produce one or two good moments per game. The criticism should be comparable to what LV gets. Asensio getting a starter role to replace CR7 is a more ridiculous decision by Flo. LV playing has been a decision made by Zidane and Solari. Benitez used to play him as well as I recall.
What has LV proven? That he is absolute trash , trash with good work ethic . But a dump is still a dump. Asensio is capable , very capable but his work ethic is maybe not on par? I dont know.
Same can be said about Asensio.. capable of? Last season LV : 4 goals 7 assists asensio : 6 goals 6 assists. Not a whole lot of difference . This season both are trash with 1 goal each. The year before that 2 and 7 for Lucas and 3 and 2 for Asensio.
