http://www.soccernet.com/england/news/2002/0730/20020730lfcgerrard.html What I found most surprising about this, is that Diao might be called in earlier to cover if this turns out to be more serious. Why not just call him in anyway?
I concur. In better news Carragher is thought to be recovering from his knee surgery ahead of shedule.
There are other threads, with contributors like Matt Clark and Brian Cappallieri, that are also older than Harvey Elliott. So beware!
Yeah - playing for Houllier left lasting brain damage. It took 20 years but the tests have finally confirmed it......
He was worse on the newer board (TGP) because it was moderated and he was about as crazy/antagonistic at it allowed - but the old soccernet boards that caused the creators of TGP to create the page was at least 30% IMO packed with cretinous trolling stupid sh!theads with nothing better to do with their lives that try to distort conversation with no real point to add - just utter cr@p. I wouid have shot that Sladobuntoung character. Quite seriously.
which always makes me wonder about some very regular posters that disappeared or stopped posting: 1. Did they get fed up with message boards for whatever reason? Completely valid and likely. 2. Did they get to overwhelmed with real life to post anymore? You would think that an appearance here or there would still be warranted - Barcelona second leg, 6th European Cup, and anytime this amazing season. 3. Did something unfortunate occur?
I know 26, Grinners & Dakota (CCSCstriker) all got into coaching and are too busy for the boards I think? Matt Clark- I'm not sure. Then there was 655321- who gave up modding for real life. AndSomeAreAngels, USvsIRELAND, Bobinhood, ForeverRed, zenden, revelationx, AussieLFCfan- another few who disappeared.
bobinhood chimed back in here a little bit - but he had some login problems. is on RAWK regularly. revX was on RAWK - but stopped posting there a while back too.
Thought Matt Clark was a real life victim? Had a kid and all that stuff? Regarding the others who have fallen by the wayside, I presumed that FB was the evil that swooped up many refugees? It was easier find and LFC group on there (plus getting all your own news) than switch sites and come here?
Probably so. FB effectively killed off a couple of boards where I used to participate regularly. Reddit hasn't helped, either.
