looks like Tah, Wirtz, Hofmann, Andrich all progress to EL SF as well!!!! imagine all these players making CL+EL SFs and we end up GS or R16 exit, LOL.
Honestly I'm starting to feel a bit more confident that we are gonna be a bit better this summer than the last 3 tournaments. We certainly have enough players that are getting high level experience, 25 making CL/EL semi final and could even end up with as many as 23 German players involved in European club finals this year. Just need Nagelsmann to not try and be too clever. QF is definitely achievable.
Brajan Gruda: A top talent from Mainz wants to conquer the DFB The next creative dribbler The teenager is still flying a little under the radar in the Bundesliga and is less of a focus outside of Mainz. But Gruda is already considered, after just 27 Bundesliga games, a very special player and also a product of adapted youth development. For years and probably too long, the focus in the support structures of the DFB and the professional clubs with their performance centers was on the somewhat uniform training of players with a lot of passing drill and less position specificity. Germany trained midfielders like they were on an assembly line, but there was less and less room for the creative players on the wings. The dribblers that brought other nations to the top of the world were and are still missing. Now a new generation of outstanding dribblers is growing up in Germany. Players who can combine the advantages of the NLZ training with their own creativity and create something special: Florian Wirtz, Jamal Musiala – and Brajan Gruda. A little Ribery Gruda combines strategic playmaking skills with incredible one-on-one strength, has a strong left foot, speed and the carefree attitude that young players in particular bring. With his portfolio and his movements, Gruda is somewhat reminiscent of the former Bayern star Franck Ribery. He had a similarly low center of gravity and was therefore so difficult to grab when dribbling and - like Gruda now - didn't put up with anything. The next Mainz national player? With Gruda, Mainz again has a great talent in its ranks who will try out for another club sooner or later. The German U-21 international can still mature in his familiar surroundings and is currently gaining important experience in the relegation battle. At some point Brajan Gruda will probably be drawn to new tasks in other spheres, then Mainz will be too small for him. The player has long been on the list at other clubs - probably also at national coach Julian Nagelsmann. But probably not for the European Championships in a few weeks, there might not be enough time for that. But all doors will soon be open for Gruda in the German senior national team if he continues like this. https://home.1und1.de/magazine/spor...-gruda-mainzer-toptalent-dfb-erobern-39566230 ha, this is just the beginning. Its not only CF that we are seeing wave of very promising next gen players but numerous other positions including AM/W. AM/W was huge problem due to training BS for like entire 90s born player and even younger like 00-01 with just few players of relevance in like 10+ age groups....... but with the younger age groups we seem to have loads of top talent/difference maker level players in those positions. players like Fuhrich, Beste etc are just placeholders until better players fully emerge.
just noticed that over the weekend Kevin Schade made his comeback from LONG TERM Injury over in EPL. played 1 min sub and had assist for 2nd goal in 2-0 W. That @kevinschade_ flick 🤤 pic.twitter.com/fy4eSt1XfU— Brentford FC (@BrentfordFC) April 14, 2024 its great to see players like Schade and Burkardt both back in shape and Burkardt already making HUGE difference in 1BL for Mainz. at this point too late for Euros but post Euro door is open.
incredible... yes for once I also feel a bit more more confident regarding our summer tourney, maybe not yet for a win but at least to top our group and maybe reach the semis
Agree. I'm more than optimistic to be honest. Feel, the players are building confidence at the right time, and with majority of the players also involved at the business end of elite European competitions, things can only get better. Yep, Naiglesmann needs to keep it simple, intresting to see come Euros, will he continue with Kai as false 9, or go with the Logic choice Fullkrug. Just hope he uses common sense, false 9 DOES NOT, AND NEVER HAS WORKED.
https://theathletic.com/5428736/2024/04/19/germany-julian-nagelsmann-contract-new/ This is great news. I sense Naiglesman has seen the talent coming through, and if he leads Germany to success that only bodes well for his future.
LOL Julian Nagelsmann's new DFB contract includes a break clause in case of an elimination in the group stage of the Euros. Nagelsmann would then be released and the DFB wouldn't have to pay his salary for the remainder of his contract. The coach doesn't mind this clause and is confident of being successful at the tournament Julian Nagelsmann's new DFB contract includes a break clause in case of an elimination in the group stage of the Euros. wow there mind your manners. We had a poster go full on bonkers because nobody rated Plattenhardt. I regret that I never rated his awesomeness!!!! Rudy is easily best M in Europe.....LOL Modric. Lasogga has control freak mother and injury issues and gaining weight. Looks more like Rooney, LOL.
I remember about a decade ago when Lasogga posed for some glamour photos with his mother. That shit seriously creeped me out.
"Where is the German Haaland???" I raise you Davie Selke "Where is the German Kane???" I raise you Big Phil Hofmann. "Where is the German Rooney???" I raise you Lasogga. believe his mom is also his agent, one can see why his career went down the drain......

and sadly for our rivals, Pavlovic is just one of many, LOL. Our Ms from 04-onwards=STACKED of top talents. Pavlovic breakingthrough SNT is just the beginning. I think current SNT is fine if you don't BS with tactics/formations and the future talents are very promising.
dominating the world when there is currently no next gen Selke, next gen Mustafi and next gen Draxler....
