I'm saying the players followed his strict work-rate that stuck with them during the world cup. He made them into better, more athletic players they are today

There is huge pressure on LOW now.... Normally with huge pressure he goes blank and does nothing different... Problem is now what to do.....
    Maybe he will play

Id go with 3-5-2 with either Rudy behind Kroos and Gotetzka as DM/CB or alternatively Süle as third CB. Yeah, I know "Rudy"... But I think we need the stability

Germany know 'pressure is extreme' after Mexico loss - Thomas Muller

"It was a bit like in our friendly against Saudi Arabia -- we allow the opponent too much space to counter when we have possession," Muller, referring to the 2-1 win on June 8, told FIFA's website. "And Mexico did a very good job. They relied on their defending and then tried to immediately go into the transition play.

"All in all, we talk about the same issues in the past games. And we try to stop, but if we continue to have as much possession, the danger will be high that if you lose the ball, the opponent will get their chances."

Germany will play Sweden on Saturday and must win to maintain their chances of winning the group.

"The pressure is extreme," Muller said. "There's no room for any more slip-ups. It feels like the knockout stages have begun. We did not want this situation. We wanted to avoid it. We must handle it now.

"The belief is still there, but we are [far] from being euphoric."

Marco Reus, meanwhile, told reporters he found out during Germany's pre-World Cup training camp in Italy that he would not start the game against Mexico.

Low, who told Reus he would "play in the important matches," handed the injury prone Borussia Dortmund midfielder his World Cup debut in the 60th minute.

"We'd like to think that it will be a long tournament," Reus said.

"Sure, that match today was also important, but we've got a big squad and everyone's needed, and that's why it was agreed upon that way."

I think Loew needs to play Rudy partner with Kroos in the middle, they had good performance together during the qualified matches, replace Draxler with Reus, possibly remove Werner, put Mulle up top, and Goretzka at the right wing

Rudy instead of Khedira, Reus instead of Draxler. Everyone can see this needs to happen, surely even Löw?

Müller is playing like shit, I would keep Werner and possibly replace Müller with Goretzka or maybe even Brandt instead.

I probably agree, being a big fan of Muller for so long, I think it is time to admit that he has lost the magical power...it is a big decision to drop Mulle, not sure if Loew will be able to do it though

I actually think the problem is in the offensive side, not enough movement up front, and with the limited chances, nobody gives me confidence that he can finish the chance, Reus probably is the best finsiher there, Muller in a good day can be, at the moment I think werner is not there yet to provide movement and finishing skill, that is why I think probably better to move Muller up front and drop Werner, and pray that Muller will wake up any moment...

I agree that the offence is a problem, but that is not so easy to fix because none of the attackers are in good form.

What is easier to fix is to make sure that the team has defensive stability. Don't give up easy chances and it puts less pressure on the attack. Winning 1-0 is fine at this point.

they really need to sort out the offence side of the game, Sweden will beat Korea, and if Germany draw Sweden, big chance Sweden will draw with Mexico to go into knock out stage together

it doesnt help that the team tries to play possesion slow build up attacks over and over again no matter what. Our transition is dead and we didnt even try once to do something fast to catch Mexico while they werent set up defensively. We have players for fast transtions in Reus,Muller,Werner with good passes from Kroos/Ozil from behind and yet we wait for our whole team even Boateng and Hummels to go deep in opponents half and then play some passes and cross it in the box where Werner? was waiting

we need to beat sweden no matter what even if they draw now because if Mexico beats S.Korea and we draw Sweden it will be Mex 6 Swe 2 Ger 1 S.Korea 1 so Mexico will probably lose the last game.

A draw vs Sweden and we need to depend on first S.Korea atleast drawing Mexico or an already fist place Mexico not losing to Sweden.

It really baffles me the lack of movement in the whole team, normally Germany's movement is excellent and with that they can create lots chance, but on Sunday you see very little movement up front, not much link up play from the mid field, i wonder why? why is the physical state of the players so bad?

After seeing both sweden and korea, if Germany can't beat both of these 2 then they rightfully need to be eliminated, both sides are bang average, specially korea

Personally the training camp they had could have been excessive, players could be fatigued

80 million national team coaches call for more defensive, offensive, quicker and calmer football

After the loss in the opening game by the German national team several fundamental changes to the tactics may be coming up. At least this was called for by the 80 million NT coaches sitting on their home couches after the game against Mexico (0: 1). Success would not be possible again before the national team played more defensive, offensive, cautious and aggressive - reacting faster and less hectic in buildup - again.

After stuffing a handful of chips into their mouths, the 80 million national team officials continued to explain that Toni Kroos needed to play more in upfront, in the back, to the left and to the right.

Serious deficiencies could be seen in the defense, in midfield and in attack, which is why every single player (except perhaps those exact eleven players who played not all that bad) should be replaced by another player.

In addition, it is now clear that it was a huge mistake not to take Leroy Sané, Mario Götze, Sandro Wagner, Nils Petersen, Lukas Podolski, David Odonkor and Michael Ballack on the trip to Russia.

Ultimately, the national coaches -who briefly had to burp in that moment - concluded they were confident that the national team could still make out of the group with an increase in performance, that they would never win the cup again, that they were still the best team in the world and that also all hope would be lost.

DFB would just have to finally listen to the 80 million national team coaches, score more goals, concede less and immediately get rid of this eternally unsuccessful, overpaid Löw.

Sweden beat South Korea 1-0 further increasing the pressure on Germany. In the immortal words of Marcus Burnett, shit just got real.

It is true that many fans consider themselves experts when they are not.

However the clear flaws in the team were so blatant that in this case it is clear that the tactics and selection was clearly very bad. And many of these potential weaknesses were already highlighted by many fans before the match, and proved to be correct. If fans can see this, then it should be no surprise when opponents can. Mexico's tactics should not have been a surprise.

    We should play a 4-3-3.

    ------------------Neuer-----------------
    Kimmich---Boateng---Hummels---Hector
    -------Kroos---Rudy---Oezil------------
    Mueller-------Werner---------------Reus

Only allow 1 fullback to push forward at a time. Always keep a cover in front of the 2 cbs to stop counters just like Belgium against Panama.
