Yes, I noticed that. I too will make a judgement when I see it (in a few weeks against Italy) but will be adding it to my Sammlung!
Overall I like it. It's very different from what I would have expected..... but I think I will pick this one up.
Don't know if most of you will agree (maybe it's the fact that I'm Italian although support the Germans due to my heritage),but I'm thinking of this as the ideal Trikot: White shirt, black neck/cuffs,and the 3 stripes incorporating the Schwarz-Rot-Gold... -Either each of the stripes coloured in with Schwarz,Rot or Gold or -The 3 stripes being Rot,and between the left and centre stripes being a Schwarzstripe and between the centre and right being a Gold stripe, like Adidas did with the French kit... It would look killer for me.
I like the sound of that transmission. Personally I think the supporters should be consulted for the next Trikot. In fact, they should leave things up to us on this thread.
I deliberately didn't use the @ as I liked the double meaning... That was a nice transmission, @transmission!
Haha OK then. Here's a draft of what I mean: Three options... Which looks best? I might turn it to a full kit then...
The first one is beautiful in its simplicity. If anything I'd move the Adidas logo to the breast so that the number is in the middle of the shirt, but hey. I was right in saying that the design for the new Trikot should come from this board... Just like that, we have what is the perfect design. @transmission, I am going to write an article on my site about the new Trikot... If you don't mind, I'd like to use your image as an example of the perfect, clean look we didn't get this time around.
@DerChef : Don't forget to also mention footballtemplates.blogspot.it (or .de,.com,whatever,Blogger changes it according to the country so...) in the credits,it's where I took the base and "Deutschified" it.
What I think would be worth a look is actually something like this: A very clean, classical design, but with golden applications.
Yeah those work. 1 is a definite NO for me, 2nd one maybe if the stripes were a bit thicker, and the 3rd one I like the idea, but it needs some work starting with a different font and size for the number.
Yeah, well, the first one wasn't too serious...I tried to play with the theme of the 1912 jersey but it didn't really work.
