a lot of these guys have been destroyed by injuries. Yesil is a known fact that constant injuries ruined his career. Ducksch also had 2 big injuries and numerous smaller ones. Looking up Gunter, just last season

    16/17 Cruciate Ligament Rupture Jul 12, 2016 Mar 19, 2017 250 days 34 games missed.

so likely barely played this season as while he was out, other players established themselves. Even Sarr had tons of non stop injuries over the years.

I recall someone once said that the reason why Werner panned out compared to so many other strikers is that he rarely got injured that was the big difference.

it's why seeing Ducksch having success now is very nice. I'm still rooting for guys like Gunter, Yesil etc.

Christopher Schindler stopping Willian's one man army attempt is what leads to Huddersfield scoring to make it 1-0 vs Chelsea. Huddersfield need only 1 pts to be safe.

Something that may work to Günter's advantage is that a lot of Genoa's current CB's are oldies (4/8 of them are over 30). While most of the other ones in their 20's aren't notable at all. They'll likely clear some space during the off season. So if Günter can set a good impression during training camp, then he may get a solid chance.

Yesil has one more year left on his contract with Panionios. He needs to increase his scoring output a lot more and aim for at least 10 league goals to stand out and gain attention from other clubs/leagues.

Schindler and Lowe after keeping Man City at bay, keep Chelsea at bay for a 1-1 draw FT. Huddersfield are now safe.

Confirmation of Kevin Mohwald to Bremen is happening in a few days?

Khedira and Howedes win the Coppa Italia as Juventus beat Milan 4-0.

10 men Utrecht lost 4-3 away to Heerenveen in the Europe playoff SF. Although with 3 away goals that's pretty huge chance to make it to the final. Chance for Strieder and Gortler for EL.

That's great to hear, seems like Genoa could be the right move for him. Here's hoping we get good news on that front.

as for Yesil, yeah 3 league goals all season is very poor, if he stays put he really needs to get 10 min to attract attention or close to that as possible. Although would like to see 0 Germans in Greece. Vlachodimos seems headed out, but still leaves another 3 which includes Yesil.

Another guy who's career has been affected by injuries, Holger Badstuber might move to Lazio in Serie A. Currently in 4th place and there is a fight for position #3 and #4 for the CL spots between 3 teams, in Roma, Lazio, and Inter in that order.

if he leaves it opens up the chance for the younger Kempf who is supposedly moving to Stuttgart in the Summer from Freiburg.

Mukhtar, Jung, Rocker and Bellot are Danish Cup winners. Still a chance for a domestic double.

The final was 3-1 win for Brondby.
Rocker scored the tying goal with an assist by Mukhtar who ended up with 2 assists in the night.

Mukhtar is now at 10 goals and 16 assists in 42 games this season. He really needs to play at a higher level, although one feels that if Brondby win and make CL it might tempt him to stay.

Ozil has back problems and said he should be fine for the WC. I think as of now the biggest issue in terms of fitness before the WC is Neuer, he seems like he's headed towards not making it.

Sebastian Stolze on loan to Jahn in 2BL from Wolfsburg is making his loan permanent.

the irony is that Wolfsburg could get relegated so either way 2BL would be his future in that regard.

On another note Freiburg is doing some spring cleaning leaving the team as of now.
Kempf (reported to be Stuttgart), Kapustka (back to Leicester), Lienhart (back to Real Madrid), Bussmann (back to Mainz), Guede (leaving), Schuster (the captain is retiring), Niedermeier (leaving), Klandt (leaving)

that's 8 players that seem headed out and could be others who also leave later.

Could be a chance for transfers and Freiburg U19/II promotions at the club.

    on Hamburg

between expiring contracts and selling off others, there could be plenty of room for players to join whether from other clubs or U19/II.

after scoring 5 goals in the last 7 games, Holtby ended up being Hamburg's top scorer at 6 goals. From what I've seen there is interest in Holtby, Muller, Hunt, Diekmeier from other 1st division clubs including EPL.

I've seen nothing about Thoelke and Shipplock.

Freiburg have Jonas Föhrenbach returning from loan, who had a fairly productive time at Karlsruher. Should also open up space for Patrick Kammerbauer. Luca Herrmann from their U19/reserves looks like one of their prospects who should have a decent chance at rising.

could also be a chance for either of Keitel or Boukhalfa to be promoted and used as back ups/slowly integrated. There is also Schlotterbeck from the U19.

wow that was impressive goal even more how it looked extremely awkward.

5-5 FT and Utrecht advance on having 3 away goals so currently are into the EL playoff final vs Vitesse.

Gortler also started the game but was subbed out at the 84th minute. Not a great season for him mostly a bench player. Here's hoping he develops better next season.

This is also the club that Guwara is reported to be joining next season.

Reus is going to be trying to score as soon as possible next season, today's goal was his 99th in 1BL. Only 1 more to hit the century mark!!!

Just one goal less than Muller and than Brantd

IN 1000 plus minuts less than each other

    Masterclass

If Brand get that call before Marco Reus (who obvious deserve it a 100 times more) we shall start to hate Low
