Germany should totally come here in Canada. I hear Canada's national team players really want to make up for that unlucky 8-1 home loss to Honduras and that will be the perfect opportunity.

I've never actually been to a match at RFK. I'm not a fan of DC United, or the MLS in general.
As long as you don't mind sleeping on a sofa. I still have to drive to get to the game, but I'm sure I can convince the misses to DD for me. :sneaky:

I would rather gamble on Yesil or Fullkrug, than bringing back Cacau

Its the 3rd striker behind Klose n Mario Gomez , so i guess it doesnt matter a lot. As its the last roster spot, i would gamble on prospects with higher ceiling

No, no, Cacau "did pop up with the odd goal", as goal.com stated. Doesn't that convince you at all?

Here, a new video of Götze impressions from this season, presented in an overly melodramatic way, bordering on cringe-inducing kitsch. But still some nice scenes:

Unless we figure out our front 4 situation, we are in serious trouble come 2014...

ya because results like the 4:4 against Sweden clearly show that we should have our attack as priority.

Everything should be a priority. A team works collectively. It's built around the attack so we can't just change midfield and defense. With the changing of one band, comes the changing of another to accomodate it, and so on.

They completely shut off from the game thinking it was a lock.
Sweden got a goal and gave them hope. Which then in quick succession followed more goals. Which then made us completely shit our pants...

Everyone shut done, it wasn't just defense.. Neuer was in shambles aswell..

At least it doesn't use that effect where every time the ball is touched or hits the net, it is replaced by some sparkling light or lens flare. That's probably my least favorite one in common football videos these days, since all the key moments get ruined by it.

What makes you think Löw could use him? Lewandowski is a perfect striker for lots of plays that Löw isn't exactly fond of in his small-minded "how to play football" universe.

Dont forget Lewandowski has/had the supply from some of the top, young creative midfielders in the world either in Goetze, Reus n even Kagawa

I think Kiessling has done a great job thus far with only a bunch of average midfielders in Leverkusen. Schurrle plays like a striker at times and Castro isnt the mot creative player around, Roles is mediocre n Lars Bender is defensive minded.

Oh he would, he's a complete all around striker. Passing, shooting and a killer instinct and can play with his head. He'd be a much better alternative to gomez.

Lewa also has lots of defensive responsibilities at BvB (for a CF), more so than Kiessling who has more or less free reign up top.

There is no comparison really. As much as I like Kiessling and think he's a good striker, he's just not at the top at all, nowhere near it - only Klose and Gomez are anywhere near what we want, and even they're lacking too.

I don't see why Loew doesn't keep pushing the 4-6-0 formation, it's where German football is headed.
