Magull inexplicably passing back the ball to Heindrich who was out of play and thus gives away a cheap corner.
What the hell is the gameplan... Why are they so DEEP? There's NO WAY you can win any match like this. It's like they've come here to try and find a draw, and content to sit back and hope to find one chance to score...
WOW... THAT WAS TERRIBLE! Germany have spent 45 mins passing the ball around their defenders, and then losing the ball anytime they cross the halfway line. They've set themselves up to do nothing... and that's exactly what they're doing. Baffling...
Their acting like Denmark are European and WC champions lol. And this having seen a series of much weaker starting 11's get positive results Vs stronger opponents... What a damn waste of time this has been... wow.
I'm not sure if this even matters now. But put Bühl on the right, drag Anyomi off, and get Brand into the match down the left. Give Magull, and Lohmann 10 more mins within a team playing with a more intense high press, and if they're still unable to wake up, remove one of them for Lattwein.
And yet tactically their still playing the same stupid mid/low block defensive structure. They have to win the ball MUCH higher if they hope to score and not lose this match.
I disagree, tactically the team is pressing much better now with Gwinn and Brand + Popp combining nicely. Still not enough to really threaten Denmark but it's a start.
And now it's 2-0 lol. Pack it up... this entire cycle is edging closer to being another lost generation. Rauch gives Denmark a lead, and now another error allows Denmark to go 2-0 up. What a sad joke.
Losing to lots of mid level teams becoming a far too common norm for this group of players. If this is what's happening Vs Denmark, I fear what will happen next Vs Iceland...
Denmark is better than Iceland, I have a feeling it will be a bit easier for Germany in the next game.
Losing to mid level quality teams has become a tradition for this group of players, with Iceland the definition of a mid level UEFA team with qualities and tactical discipline to expose this dumpster fire of a team. Trust me... Germany could be sitting on two defeats for their Nations League opening matches. They're not ready to compete with anyone remotely credible.
We've seen 5 years of this garbage.... FIVE YEARS! I'm telling everyone here... alarm bells should be ringing very loud right now. As Germany unable to win with good players, will be completely off the radar with a drop in the future quality of player development.
I'm not suggesting Iceland isn't a good team or doesn't have the qualities and tactical discipline to expose Germany, I just think Germany will have a somewhat easier time with them than away to Denmark which tends to dominate.
