Amazing you can keep up with USL2, but that's the life of lower divisions.
I wonder what the one for the NPSL would look like. unless someone has already done that.

Honestly, it’s just something I’ve done for years. Unfortunately it’s also done because there’s really no “historian” for USL as a whole. Or even soccer as a whole.

It’s fun. Just a little hobby.

Not even going to try NPSL. It’s such a poorly run entity and they have ridiculous turnover. Bad record keeping. Not worth the time.

    Good idea!

You know, I was thinking about that the other day. For whatever reason I just never got past thinking about it. Consider it done.

I'm really curious how they're going to divide the Central Conference this year, specifically the Heartland division, because St. Croix, Chicago City, Minneapolis City, Chicago Dutch Lions, and now Springfield ASC, not to mention the returning St. Louis Lions, were all said to be joining the Heartland division. That doubles the size of that division if they don't move teams around. Last year the division was Des Moines, Chicago FC United, SLSG, Kaw Valley, Green Bay, and Wichita.

    League answered this question today.

Looks like Green Bay and SLSG are both gone while Thunder Bay returns and the Central Conference will have 4 divisions.

NYRB U-23 team was not listed when USL League 2 announced the conference alignment a few weeks back. The reason for this was because Red Bull have decided to discontinue the club. With the U-23 team it was decided it was not worth the resources it required. Between staff needing time off after a long academy season as well as diminishing returns, a decision was made to cut bait. For the team the stated benefit was always about seeing players in their environment which is something they feel they can accomplish by bringing in players to train with Red Bull II.

Thats too bad. I know its expensive, but I always felt if most MLS Academy teams are going to be U18 and under, U23 fits a nice gap between the academy teams and the (now) reserve team. Even though the NCAA draft is not as big as before, U23 was a good place to place these players while they finish college.

yeah, I want to say the results of this team over the last few years has been mediocre at best, I watched one match online last year and I want to say they might have had a total of 13 players.
