    good info on the gold cup. Does anyone know what the prize is for winning the gold cup this year? Is it money or just a golden cup? The Gold cup in 2007 would send the winner to the next Confederations Cup I guess. What does this years winner receive?

    Why is South Africa in the Tourney if it's for teams located in the Americas?!

    part of it probably is to increase the level of competition

    CONMEBOL has guest nations for the Copa America...but that seems more so they can get three groups of four.
