They haven't got the best of depth in their player pool, think they've been very unlucky that Vedat Muriqi was unavailable in the play off - he's key.
Germany and Switzerland are tied 3-3 with 30 minutes to go. It's incredible how easy it is to cut open Germany.
I somehow missed this but This is the footage of the football-head linesman.... you will not be disappointed (unlike the fans who paid £10 to watch the match) Enjoy... https://t.co/L78HZsrKg4— Tom Cox (@seagull81) October 30, 2020
Luiz being allowed to play on shows how awful football's stance on head injuries is. Shows a serious need for concussion substitutes sooner rather than later.

BOOM!Euro2021 very likely to be played solely in England as UEFA are opting for the one hosting country format and England is the one they believe being in best position to do so.Decision expected to be taken within mid-April— Tancredi Palmeri (@tancredipalmeri) February 25, 2021
Just been reading the sky sports story on English South Asians within the football pyramid (or lack thereof). What's people's thoughts on this? The Asian population is bigger then the black population in this country and yet we've recently celebrated the 100th Black player to feature for england. We have yet to celebrate the first South Asian to represent us. Why has it taken so long? Will we get a South Asian playing for England before the next World Cup? Do we have any english South Asians in this forum? Would be very interested to hear anybody's opinions.
If you look at some of the younger age groups, it’s quite clear that some coaches prefer black players over white or Asian. Unfortunately the diversity brigade only allow people to speak up for certain groups.
Such a shame if that's true. I think either dhanda or choudhury are our best chances of seeing a south Asian in the England team any time soon.
This topic has been done do death (probably not on here) and the answer is usually that it's because they favour cricket. I'm from West Yorkshire which has a large Asian population and I'd say that the ones that do like football tend to prefer 5-aside rather than play for traditional 11-aside teams.
We've had accounts of Asian kids being told by scouts that the clubs won't go for them because they're Asian and no one seem to take it very seriously, yet when the number of Black coaches is representative of the population that's somehow evidence of systemic racism because of the massive over-representation of Black players in the game. Very odd. Anecdotally I can't say that I've found Asians in the UK to be any less interested in football than the average person.
Not sure I have seen a worse miss than this from a professional footballer. If I have then I can’t recall 1378052623908098048 is not a valid tweet id
So UEFA confirm they still intend to hold the Champions League final in Turkey! After the ESL fiasco we now come crashing back to earth and are reminded how stupid UEFA are imo. Turkey currently in lockdown and one of the worst Covid rates in Europe last week, 26k new cases yesterday but they still want two English Clubs to send their players there and 4K plus fans each. Circumstances change and currently Covid rate is extremely low in the UK, plus more than half the population vaccinated and fans safely getting back into stadiums. Surely it’s just practical and logical to have the final in the UK when it’s two teams from England under the current circumstances?
There are probably legal guarantees in place for the stadiums in question, what with all the money involved. I doubt that UEFA can just change things on a whim when the game isn't being threatened.
