No thanks. With Stellardo, Nice has already reached its twister quota.

Taipe actually wants to invest in football and plenty of people in France do not, (see the ASSE situation.)

let's make one thing perfectly clear. bernard tapie has never really invested anything, nor money, nor time, nor effort, in anything but himself.

With or without him, I do not expect Nice to be relegated. They are definately not one of the 3 worst teams on paper and Mournier hasnt even settled in yet and Remy is off to a mediocre start. Not adequately replacing Rool and Kante in defense is their problem.

Well, Remy hasn't done that badly so far. He's scored three goals, which is pretty good when you compare him to our topscorer, Gomis, who has only four (as well as far superior service). Nice's problem is that the rest of the team doesn't do much to contribute. It's pretty abysmal, actually.

Well 3 goals is all well and good, but between those, his performances have really been lackluster.

Bordeaux has their 23 game unbeaten streak snapped by 16th place AS St. Etienne. They are good for something after all.

The goal by Payet in 94th made Carasso look like a fool.

He was out after 3:00 AM despite a team curfew. I haven't read anything about the driver's condition so I surmise he is fine. The worst is that a girl's life was lost. Awful.

he wasn't due to feature in the game against Costa Rica so they were probably lax on him.

So Montpeiler is in 2nd after 9 weeks....WTF!! And Monaco could be set to jump into 4th place if they win today, which is entirely likely. Their home form is pretty good, they just need to shore up the defense a bit, especially away from home, where they have been leaking goals.

Mouais, Grenoble were also ranked highly during the past season and now they are where they belong. I also remember that Montpellier had a good start ( they were ranked 6th or something like that) before to go down some years ago. Perhaps, it will last until december, I doubt that it'll last longer than that.

I agree with you that it will end, Nicholas, but even so, this start is MASSIVE for the club and the players. Every game won now is a game in which you can drop points later in the season and still survive.

I predict MHSC will finish mid-table. But before the season and before this start, everyone with sense would have predicted the drop.

Nene from Monaco is the league leading goal scorer with 7. Very surprising to see that since he's a 28 yr old journeyman type of player who was on loan last year. I think Gignac has like 1 goal so far. Niang is in 2nd with 6 and a good bet to finish as top scorer I think.

I know that Moussa got his senior callup first, but something tells me that Etienne Capoue is gonna turn out to be the better player. There's something about him that screams "I'm gonna be a legend!".

    gotta love matt's enthusiasm!

the risk is that he'll be a legend in his own mind first.
